I can already predict something getting in my eye when they play 13 in the last show of the tour.

No doubt!  I get a little sad at the end of every show, so the last one is going to be really tough!!!  So glad that we are able to listen to and sometimes even watch all of these shows!

Hear hear... I've been to 30 U2 shows since 1987 and although I understand they are an extreme political group,  I've been able to ignore the rhetoric and enjoy the show.  However, it is starting to get over the top.. the anti Police stance is shameful.  Hands up don't shoot was a lie and proven to be so.  They were all for police and fire fighters back in 2001 during 911 when it was popular...even bringing them up on stage at MSG.  fast forward 17 years and now the in thing is anti Trump anti law enforcement anti anyone who is not on the left. . Bono is disconnected.. Trump was voted by the American people for a reason. This group wants soooo hard to be relavent  again that they don't understand that people just want to hear a rock and roll show.  I know you can't completely stop your rhetoric but stop trying so hard.  Just play the F-ing music and it will be great. They continue to reinforce this divide the 44th president started then play "One"...  and as far as the show.. its not a terrible set list, I get it- you want to play the new songs but come on guys, don't send us home asleep.  Throw  something in the encore with a little giddy up.. i.e.. streets , out of control or even something else  from Rattle and Hum like God part II since its 30 year anniversary.

The ending is deliberate and makes sense with the overall theme and arc of the show.  People always clamor for them to start playing 40 to close shows, but not a lot of "giddy up" in that one either.  And no, 45 was not "voted by the American people."  Don't forget he lost "the people" by 3 million.

Just home from the first show in LA and wow... what a dissapointment. Let me first say this was my 41st U2 show since 1985 so I am no band wagon fan. But the amount of Anti-trump references, "we know better than you" and other patronizing rhetoric from Bono was sickening. One particular video display inferred that Trump supporters were KKK members. Really Bono? It must be so easy to pontificate from high above on a platform of stardom and wealth. Did you happen to notice the empty seats and HUGE open space on the GA floor area Bono? Maybe you should talk less and sing more. I want to continue to support the band I love but for God's sake..don't add to the division in this country set in motion by our radical 44th president.

Yeah, not all 45 supporters are KKK members, but all KKK members are certainly 45 supporters. That speaks volumes. Bono has really been pretty restrained with his comments on the current disgrace. I would love to hear him speak for an hour or so about how he really feels. And he would undoubtedly try to find some positive things to say, which is difficult.

what a nightmare. Just finished 11th call to Ticketmaster... it's a resale ticket via Ticketmaster so they cannot send me that information. I'm allowed to enter GA and that's it.
So 500$ for GA !!! I'm going crazy here!

There is typically a separate line for Red Zone.  If you just keep checking around the entrances and asking people I bet you'll find it.

Thank you to all who posted on Periscope!?

I scoped the first 4 songs or so from the front, but was disappointed to see on the replay how pixelated (sp?) it was.  At first I was not even able to go live and the app said the connection was too poor.  I guess the signal was just too weak to send enough data to have a clear picture.  A shame, as I had a great spot and over 1,200 viewers at peak.

I just spoke with people at the BOK Center.  They said that the line starts with the first person in line at the time announced.  Nobody with magic marker numbers will be allowed to skip ahead of whomever is there first, at the announced time.  They are going to have a couple of members who are higher up in rank, from the venue, out and making sure things go smoothly. I repeatedly asked, "So the first person who is there at the proper time announced is the first person into the venue for GA?".  I was told, "Yes.  Nobody with a number on their wrist from whenever should be allowed to go in front.  The person there at the correct time is the person who properly waited all day.  No previous numbers will be honored.". I was told that those shapie numbers, already preassigned  by whomever decides he or she is in charge, are not valid.  If they show up and demand to be put in front-those who obeyeed the rules and starting lining up at the proper time should say, "No.  We were here first as the rules clearly stated.:".  There should be upper-tiered people about, along with security.  If the sharpie numbered people start raising a fit-go get security. and ask for a supervisor if security does nothing.  They will respond.  I already let the venue know this is happening.  They are now aware of it.

And of course what happened is that shortly after 5 am a venue representative came out to the lineup, complemented everyone and stated that the line would be moved to the venue side of the street at 6:00 and anyone arriving without a number and not on the list would be sent to the back of the line. This will more than likely happen at every show, so those wanting to be as close as possible to the front of the line should definitely participate in the fan-organized line-up. That being said, anyone who arrived at 6 am would still have gotten an excellent spot in GA even with being sent to the end of the line.

  7. The e-mail was pretty generic and does not address early line-up. Any KC locals have recommendations for parking other than $30 or $40 for the stadium lots?  Planning to get there pretty much at the crack of dawn and would like to park somewhere and leave the car there all day until after the show.  If they end up doing numbers/wristbands fairly early in the morning I hope they will at least have a lot open where people can park for no charge to get numbers. Not really expecting a huge lineup early in the morning for this show.
