  1. After Cologne #1, really enjoyed the two nights in Amsterdam, loved the setlist changes in the part before the HMTMKMKM intermission, although I really love Iris!

Meeting Bono before the show yesterday (see the picture) was the icing on the cake!CCFAC351-A273-47E2-B09C-3F874E0BD982.thumb.jpeg.0935dc59741309562ffa80f16ebaab5d.jpeg

Thanks U2 for an amazing Amsterdam Experience! Up next: London #1

hope you got there in time... if you did let us know the story (and review!)

I did, arrived exactly at 8pm and I think everyone in the traffic jam made it. Fortunately, the road was opened earlier at 7:15pm so it was not as bad as predicted by the WDR traffic info (9pm). Most importantly, the show was great!!

Stuck with a lot of other people wearing U2 shirts on the A57 from Krefeld to Köln, road is closed due to a car fire. Haven’t moved one meter during the last hour. Getting a bit nervous...

Could the moderators pass this message to the band ?

Very likely that a lot of people will miss the show tonight. A57 is being repaired and likely closed until 9pm... ?

Rumors that already People queing up at the venue and that the first 500 get a tape at their wrist for a small speciale fos? Anyone to confirm?

Maybe they will close a section outside the stadium for early queuers, that's what they did in the past as well. Can not imagine there will be a small fos inside the stadium besides the red zone if multiple sources confirmed this last week. Have any pictures of the stage build-up emerged.

Other rumour is that they are shooting a video today in Amsterdam

A lot of pushing an shoving though... I'm glad I decided to go for Red Zone :-)

Well, it was quite relaxed in London, so hope it will be the same without pit in Amsterdam. Red zone would have been nice, but I'm happy with 3 U2 shows with 'just' regular GA tickets. Will find a good spot anyway. Enjoy the Red Zone and thanks for providing the helpful information!

Some more info from the venue:

    Goedemorgen meneer Pouw,

    Hartelijk dank voor uw e-mail.

Buiten de Red-zone zal er geen extra vak vrij zijn voor de mensen die er vroeg zijn. U zult hierbij in het reguliere vak komen.

    Met vriendelijke groet,

Thanks for checking multiple sources! Pity there won't be a separate front of stage section for early arrivers, but then also no stress about getting in such section...

  9. It's mine and a friends 40th the week the shows are on. I rang her last night and told her me and my better half are taking her to see U2 on the Sunday. She started crying. I told her we got seats near the back so can't wait to see her face when we turn up and in RZ. Going to be a brilliant weekend.

That's a nice surprise! Then make sure she does not read this forum ;-)

Didn't manage to find seating chart. Wanted to know GA split (there were four options). Don't speak Dutch so took pot luck - I got 'Ingand Zuid G Veld Staanplaats' which I think is 'South Field entrance'. Anyone who speak Dutch/been to venue know if this will allow me to try and get near stage or is Field sectioned?

In terms of price GAs were 70 Euro plus 7 Euro fees i.e. 77 Euros.

There are two entrances which will get you both on the field: entrance J and entrance G. These 4 options give you access to the same GA area. There is no distinction in sections and entrance in the front of stage section (not RZ) is based on first-come-first-serve basis.

Thanks Johan that is really helpful :)

You're welcome! Have you managed to purchase Twickenham as well? I have.
