  1. As the types of European venues aren't quite the same size as the Americans are, it's hard to say. Some GA-floors are bigger than others, but I was having a great time standing right in front of the Red Zone in Amsterdam. The distance to the stage and the catwalk is about 5-8 meters and the best thing is that you have this barrier in your back, so no one is pushing you. You even can sit down to it, while waiting for U2 to begin.

Red Zones have their own bar, so if you're lucky someone inside the place can get you drinks :-) That's what happened to me!

I was wondering if you could see the screen ok from just in front of the Red Zone?

  2. It's nerve-wracking, but I bet something eventually gets worked out for this.

Definitely should be especially as per the FAQ TM state:

"What if I bought the tickets but I’m not going to the event?

If the artist, team, or venue uses Ticketmaster Ticket Transfer, you can send the tickets to anyone you want – free! To see if Ticket Transfer is an option for your event, just click the order number under Order History in My Account and look for the Transfer Tickets button.

If you don’t see the button, you may be able to walk your group to the entrance and show your credit card and ID to get them in. But please check with the venue!"

    So fingers crossed!
