I went to Boston 3 with a few friends, but will be doing the last 4 NYC shows alone - 3 in GA. I like being able to do what I want, when I want.

I attended Boston 3, my first U2 show in 23 years, and it was thoroughly fanatstic from start to finish. Even from the upper reaches of the upper deck. I can tell you when Bono started to speak before The Crystal Ballroom and said 'we've only done this one once before' or something like that, I knew what was coming next. Just great. Loved every second of it. Now I have to wait 10 days for the next show, as I'm going to the last 4 in NYC, 3 of them GA. Good stuff baby!

We got here about 6:45 and we are spots 92 & 93. 20-25 people behind us as of 7:25 am

I'm surprised there aren't more people on the list, honestly. Have fun at the show! I'll be out there on Tuesday. No GA until the NYC shows though.

It would be pretty cool to see Patti Smith up on stage with the guys, maybe doing Dancing Barefoot with Bono. New York would be a great way to cap off the final show there.

..are you sure the seat map changes color when ga s is available? I get a box that says check for resale tickets when it refreshes which blocks out the map. 

Whenever tickets become available in a certain section that section will turn light blue. I get the box but just click the x in the corner to get rid of it. It's probably a bit early for GAs to pop up, maybe closer to the 15th or 16th, if they do. But you never know. A few weeks back some red zone tickets came up for the show on the 19th but I can't make that show so I didn't buy them.

I'm hoping GAs do come up - no way I'm paying the scalper/resale prices.

Any hints on how to keep checking TM? Use the web or phone app? Use the interactive map or choose the price level or what? I realize it's hit or miss on the timing, but I'd hate to miss even when I'm obsessively checking just because I don't know the tips and tricks for the TM interfaces. 

I am hoping to score GA tickets for the 7/22 and 7/23 NYC shows if there is a drop - so what I am doing is I have two explorer windows up on my laptop at all times. One has the seat map for the show on the 22nd, the other has the map for the 23rd. They automatically refresh every so often. I check it at work, check it at home, before bed, when I get up. Extreme, yes, but when GAs pop up they tend to go very quickly. If the GA area turns light blue on the map, click it, buy, and you're good.

The app I don't check too often.

I'm looking to complete my set! I've got tickets for every night in Boston except for 11 July. I'm looking for someone who's got a spare! I'd prefer a spare GA ticket, I'd be willing to meet you at the venue at any time to line-up/and or get wristbands. I'm open to different areas of the arena as well. I'd also be willing to trade for my extra balcony ticket on the 14th (PM me for details, this option might disappear), and pay the cost differential if needed.

There are some tickets for the 7/11 show available on Tickemaster now - no GA, but I just pulled up a lower level LOGE seat right by the stage.

I only see the resale tix as being available...

You can still get normal tickets for the 7/19 show, but it looks like the RedZone tickets are gone (for now). The only NYC shows that I see that don't have tickets (apart from resale) are the 7/18 and 7/31 shows -

Going to the last 4 - GA on the 26th, 30th, and 31st, section 226 row 2 on the 27th. Hopefully if there is a ticket drop near show time I can snag some for the shows on the 22nd and 23rd. Unlikely I'll be able to go to the opening 2 shows.

Hey Mike - thanks!  Good to be back.  I'll be attending the first Vancouver show, the last 4 in NY and the last 4 in London; and possibly the Dublin shows when they're finally announced!

 

Hey ddarroch.  Appreciate you sharing the Guide.  It's meant to help fans understand what happens when they arrive at the venue, especially when they come early.  I'll update the Guide right after the Vancouver show to give you a better indication of entry procedures, the floor, etc.  Hope to see you in the GA too!

Question: How much are Red Zone seats for this tour?. I saw that Denver is going on sale soon but the prices aren't showing online as of today. I have a presale code but haven't paid attention to pricing this tour since we didn't think we would make one of the shows. Please let me know. Thanks!

In NYC the Red Zone tickets were the same as the lower level ones - $312. I assume it's the same everywhere. Good luck with the tickets.

Hope to see you both there. Maybe they'll do something special for the last North American gig this year.

Hello, I am new in all this. If I get a paid account here at u2.com... and the band decide they will play Miami in 2016. Will I get presale tickets? Sorry for this dumb and stupid question, but I have no idea about it

You will get a pre-sale code that will give you the chance to buy pre-sale tickets. I joined a couple months back, got a pre-sale code right away, and used it to get GA tickets for the 7/30 and 7/31 NYC shows.

Anyone can use it - one of my co-workers used it to snag some tickets.

Yes - the MSGU2 code is legit. I received an email from MSG with the code yesterday, and tested it out earlier today. I was able to get in like the subscriber presale. If anyone is looking for GA tickets they seemed to be all gone by the time I went in. I think it runs until tomorrow - what time I'm not sure.

I believe even if you renew you only get one code per tour, so for the stadium leg next year we should get new codes.

Anybody use presale to try for this show yet? Wondering how it went and what chances are for GA for  innocence tomorrow - My husband still has his code and is debating about using it for last NYC or hold out for Dublin. So many tix are up for resale for all the NY shows, and Wish we really had a stage set up before sinking any more $ unless I know where the stage is exactly. So far I have NY 1 and 6 - and I will probably to to 8 either way -
