Ticket Transfer not permitted?

So I just bought a few GAs for NY and Miami. And was planning on giving 1 or 2 to my cousin in Miami as a gift...But it says on the Ticket Confirm email that I will have to swipe my Credit Card at the gate for my tickets to be printed. Does this mean that I can't give my tickets to my cousin? Is this the case with all Tickets at every stadium? Please let me know if you have any info. Thanks, Darren
