  1. You're better off calling them for a response. They don't seem to respond well to emails. That being said, I was told when I called yesterday about all of my missing merch that I purchased over a month ago that pretty much all of the Joshua Tree items available for sale sold out as fast as a U2 concert on presale day. So everything JT related is on back order for who knows how long because they haven't been able to keep up with the demand.

  2. Unfortunately that is just a general range and doesn't provide details on the different price tiers. And it hasn't been confirmed yet whether $280 is truly the most expensive ticket or if there will be other price levels above that for VIP or Red Zone, etc. That's the key info that is still missing. Not sure why the EU Ticketmaster provided that info and the US Ticketmaster has not.

  3. You guys are lucky, at least your Ticketmaster site posted prices. Still no detailed pricing on the US tickets yet. The US Ticketmaster site doesn't appear to have a blog like the one you linked for that info so we're going into the presale blind in the US.

  4. Max, thanks for sharing all that you know as soon as you're informed of new details. You and the other mods have been doing a great job with sharing info. I just wish they would tell you guys more info that could be shared about ticket prices. I've just got a bad feeling that they're not going to tell you until after the presales have started.

  5. Thanks Bigwave! Good summary!

I'm just hoping that they'll provide more detailed information on the tiered pricing before we have to log in and buy tickets tomorrow.

  6. What does everyone think about this? Would it be safe to assume that the posted price range currently on Ticketmaster would imply that the most expensive tickets will be $280 and there wouldn't be any others above that price? Or should we assume that the upper limit might still be higher once the actual tier prices are released (and hopefully that we'll get the pricing info tomorrow and not have to wait until they go on sale)?

  7. I've been to every tour since Zoo TV and I loved this tour. The screen was probably the coolest thing I've ever seen at any concert ever. I loved every second of both shows that I attended. It was amazing and I'm so glad I got to see it live.

The complaints about the set list are pretty tired. I went to a lot of concerts this year for other bands including The Who, Fleetwood Mac, Foreigner, Steeley Dan and Santana. In looking up all of their playlists from other cities, they had pretty much the same set list with only a few mods here or there but overall the same. And yet nobody is complaining about them like they have about U2. In that regard, perhaps periscope and meerkat are a curse rather than a blessing because people see similar shows each time they log in. Maybe people need to go back to not watching the live streams so they can be surprised when they find out at the show what the set list turns out to be. Maybe that would bring back some of the surprise.

I think the IE Tour was one of their best ever, and it actually makes me pretty sad to see people dissing it so much. I truly enjoyed my experience. It was wonderful. I'm sorry that some people didn't get the same joy in theirs.
