Usual set with Electric Co (great performance) instead of Gloria
Heard Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses during soundcheck...but alas they did not play it for us. Maybe the Apollo folks will be luckier!

yes i also have a citi credit card - looking forward to an answer on that.

Just did RZ for Philly and I have to say I have mixed feelings. It's great to give for a good cause and I'm so glad I didn't have to wait outside all day. Amazing show. That said, I experienced a lot of sightline problems. Better spots looked to be at the top of the tree from GA. I have seats for Croke on opposite side of RZ, so looking forward to take it all in from further back, maybe with a beer in hand!

Check the Croke website - I think you may be limited as to how far in advance you can queue since the stadium is in a residential neighborhood. Enjoy Dublin! Went for the first time last year not knowing the boys would arrange a tour - so I'll be back, but in a seat

Hi All,
People who attend Sports Things will already know this, but for those of us who are less frequent patrons...
Reminder that since many of the stadiums on the US leg are usually home to NFL games, please be sure to check their bag policies, as there have been some updates since U2's last stadium tour. Clear plastic bags, and clutch bags with size restrictions have been enforced for football games, and when I contacted the venue I'll be attending this summer they told me that policy will be in effect for U2.
I don't work for any of these places and cannot speak on their behalf, but just trying to get the word out so nobody is left in a pickle and being forced to abandon their bag. If in doubt, just ask your venue.
Plan accordingly!

Gibson Hotel, just across the Liffey from Hanover Quay. Still close enough to Croke and downtown and I like to walk, so it should be great. Paid a hefty amount because I booked late, but that's on me. This is gonna rock!
staying at the spencer - stayed at the gibson last year and had what i will only describe as an underwhelming experience (nothing wrong with the rooms but some serious staff competency issues that kept adding up to make a frustrating stay)

Im in the Redhill group, but when i tried to purchase Dublin RZ tickets at 9 AM MST USA, no luck. Are they not available yet, or did they sell out? Or did I miss the sale time since Dublin is 7 hours ahead? Please help...has never happened to me in the past...always managed to secure RZ in the first few minutes, esp when loggin in at 9 am. Thoughts?
yes it was based on the "local" time zone of the venue you wished to attend. So that would have been 2am MST/9am GMT.

303 EE...very excited!

For Philly I entered the code and selected Red Zone from the drop down menu, and I'm done. It only let me select Will Call for delivery, though, is that typical?

only small hiccup so far was my credit cards thought it was a fraudulent purchase (in the states at 4am buying for ireland) at first so they wouldn't get verified by ticketmaster, and lost my first set of tickets, but was able to recover. fingers crossed for next round....
-
do you foresee any issues with having 2 ticketmaster accounts - one for US and one for Ireland - that have the same email and billing address, but different cards? I'd be buying 2 tix per show, 4 total, so not going over the limit. I'm slightly afraid of getting one or both of my orders cancelled...
-
I'm in the same boat, I had to create a new profile for Ticketmaster Ireland. I hope there are no surprises and waking up at 4am will not be in vain!

timeanddate.com and their 'meeting planner' function is a helpful site if you are planning on buying tickets for a show in a time zone other than yours.

Hoping to get tickets to Dublin but am very confused about the pricing that's currently showing up on Ticketmaster IE. Can anyone provide clarity or will this be explained by EOD today? For example....
Under 'Event Info' tab:
Gold Hot Ticket includes:
Top Priced seated ticket to see U2 live*
Package holders also receive:
- Commemorative U2 tour laminate + lanyard
- Merchandise item designed exclusively for package purchasers
- Designated check-in with our on-site event staff
*Ticket Face Value Price: 186.00But.... then under 'Price Range' tab it says 314.50
Same applies to 'Silver' except ticket value listed at 110 and price range tab says as 220...
Is that 'price range' meant to be interpreted as ticket value + the extra goodies? Trying to determine if the Gold/Silver packages are if you want the add-ons, or if that's the only way to get good seats. The non-package tickets seem to max out at 186, so are those for lower level seats?
Any help is appreciated. Many thanks!

So in theory can I purchase 2 for European leg and 2 for US leg using my code?

Depends on how badly you want to be at a specific location. I got on line around 3pm for MSG2, on a swelteringly hot day and was #173, and I managed to get a spot at the rail on the catwalk about halfway between the main stage and the E stage.

I know this is a bit delayed but I have to tip my proverbial hat to the people who were running the GA line like pros. Totally chill, no drama, everyone with wristbands were allowed in first and very orderly/respectful. Whoever you are - thank you!
