  1. Anyone else completely denied the opportunity to participate in the regular sale? My wife and I were both denied codes for every regular sale show on this tour. For the second round of shows we did not even receive a waitlist email! I’m now concerned that I will never have an opportunity to buy regular sale tickets from Ticketshafter again. Im just curious. Has anyone else been completely denied codes? What have I done wrong? What Can I do to get off Ticketmaster’s naughty list? This is a complete nightmare!
  2. Here’s what I find ironic. With all the hoopla about the verified fan process curtailing bots and scalpers, this is the first time in almost 30 years of attending u2 concerts that I’ve ever had to consider buying scalped tickets. I tried for every single show as well as the added second shows and I did not receive one crack at a general sale code. I’m obviously on a scalper watch list (along with my wife) even though we have never resold tickets in our lives and have attended close to 30 shows over the years. At this point I’m more bewildered than angry. Mostly I just feel sad. I am so discouraged that I’m actually finding it hard to listen to the new album. Which is a shame because it is clearly amazing.
  3. Max you are the silver lining in this whole miserable affair! After a sleepless night of frustration I just got my code and two RZs for Atlanta. I totally didn’t think this was happening so thanks for making my day!!! I can only imagine the stress and lack of sleep that you are experiencing. Please know that it is deeply appreciated!
  4. Thank You Shannon!!!
  5. So I lost my Red Zone information email that was sent out Monday for the Seattle show. Is there a way I can get it redelivered? Does it contain any crucial information that I need to gain access to the venue? Feedback would be greatly appreciated!
  6. I somehow managed 2 GA's at exactly 10AM but this puppy is gone! I've never seen anything like it for a stadium show! Even the $2000 resales are being snapped up immediately. Where was this demand for I&E? I tried Boston, NJ, Philly and Toronto earlier this morning but this one was the craziest of them all!!!
  7. GA for three of four nights. Was very lucky to score GA tickets for the last two shows in regular sale this AM. May have to resort to the secondary market for the show on the 25th. This will be my first visit to Chicago. Wife has been there and she absolutely loved it. Can't wait! Wish I could be cryogenically frozen until July 24th...
  8. This makes me so mad I could spit. Chicago show 2...And this is on the ticketmaster reseller site.
  9. Anybody else getting Zeppelin vibe on Cedarwood Road?
  10. I agree. The second half is very interesting.
  11. from Songs of Ascent to Songs of Innocence. Worth the wait if you ask me. Love the inclusion of Every Breaking Wave to symbolize the journey.
  12. 1. Achtung Baby (by a landslide) 2. Unforgettable fire 3. Rattle & Hum My first two choices would be appreciated by most long-time U2 fans. The third may be scoffed at by some. I know Rattle & Hum may not be a typical fan's choice and it may also not be near the top in terms of consistency. I also acknowledge that it is the album that nearly ended U2 and that the critics lined up like a pack of hungry dogs to rip it to shreds. Despite these various black marks and reservations R&H contains some of my all time favourite U2 moments and some of the most underrated tracks in the U2 discology. Hawkmoon 269, in particular, is a standout for me. I think R&H does suffer a bit from schizophrenia. It probably should have been a live or studio album but not both, and certainly not evenly divided between the two. I believe the original material on its own would have been quite well received as follows: 1) Desire 2) Hawkmoon 269 3) Angel of Harlem 4) Love Rescue Me 5) When Love Comes to town 6) Heartland 7) God Part II 8) All I Want Is You
  13. Started out buying backup t-shirts mostly on eBay so I could keep my concert day t-shirts as collectibles and wear the eBay ones. I got addicted somewhere along the way and now have over 50 ranging from ZooTV to 360. My next goal is to buy a vintage Boy tour T. Pricey venture!
