  1. This is a promotional photo, taken by Tom Cornett Photography, for posters and possibly an album panel back in June, 2009. Due to the cost of studio time, however, the album did not materialize. Yet. Goal is now to get it done by my 45th birthday....which is getting frighteningly close!
  2. My favorite U2 album, taken the day the box arrived in the mail. The blue candle is a souvenir from my stay at The Clarence Hotel back in 2008. The candle has a far deeper meaning behind it than just being a souvenir. Both items are associated with major changes that took place in my life, for the better.
  3. This day was a storm chaser's dream come true....when this photo was taken, we had already seen about 7 tornadoes, total of 16 for that day, all from the storm that is behind me in the shot. After dark, when it was all over, I listened to "Electrical Storm", "Beautiful Day", and much of "The Unforgettable Fire". This may seem like a sick hobby, but try to understand: the power of these storms is unbelievable. Man cannot mess with them. They are, to me, profoundly beautiful because of that, and remind me of the power of God. I love to study them, try to predict where they will happen, and simply watch them. Storms and U2 are my two favorite earthly loves.
  4. Me on the stage at Red Rocks Ampitheatre, where U2 recorded "Under a Blood Red Sky" back in 1983...in the rain. I went to Red Rocks because it is a part of U2 history, and was pleasantly surprised to learn I could walk on the actual stage!
  5. Although it's a far away shot, I love it because it shows all four of them together. Sept 12, 2009, Chicago.
  6. One of my favorite shots, taken at the Chicago show on September 12, 2009.
  7. Imagine accidentally seeing this while simply trying to figure out how to get into the stadium. Never in my LIFE did I think something like this would actually happen to ME! It was an answer to a prayer I never even dared to pray.
