Good reasons to romp and play

Crawled out of bed this morning, opened the window, a cool blast of air hit my face and I had woken up to a big snowfall. I headed out to play with the dogs before the sun came up and took a few photos of the fun. -

I took Piper and Charlie up the road a ways today to let them run around and swim. It's getting cold out so not too many more swims. Piper kept blasting through the timer shots. At one point she hit the brakes from a full sprint to stare at where the beeping was coming from. I wasn't sure if she was going to attack the camera thinking it was a squirrel or what. Anyway, a great day in an amazing place on earth. -

Had him shaved for summer and his feathers and retriever golden coat are growing back in time for winter. -

Bert is his name. As in Ernie and Bert from Sesame Street. Bert who had the passion for pigeons, singing and tap dancing for them ... -

There is an adventurous bird in our northern community. Not sure how he got here or if he'll stay but he's been living in my car park for about three weeks or more now. He's pretty funny! I foster stray/abandoned pups here in the north. Today I brought home my latest charge, a @ 5-month-old pitbull puppy i'm calling Joe. I have an 18-month-old Great Dane and they are having a blast. Even my cats liked this puppy right away.
