Thanks to all who rattled and hummed about set list possibilities...we are moments away from knowing how they will start JT 2017 in Vancouver and I for one have baited breath filled with anticipation. I am like a child with a Christmas gift alone nights before the holiday wondering...should I peak or delay the pleasure and be surprised?

I searched the forums for this topic to no avail. Monitors I'd be grateful if you responded. Low and behold my bank is closing my credit card due to a charge from an internet site I did not authorize. Therefore, due to the fraud, I am being issued a new credit card. So.........what's the policy for those who have new cards for these types of issues (lost, stolen, fraud) in the months between sales and needing to show "proof" at the show?

Shannon387 you raise a really good point, during Bono's alter persona's in the early 90's coming out of JT and into Zoo TV tour from AB...those personas of MacPhisto, The Fly and Mirror Ball Man were strong political statements. He just became MacPhisto on Jimmy Kimmel for (Red) a few months ago and I think we will see some rendition of him again. Some on these posts believe the tour will stay in the time bubble of JT and not address things they did before and after, but as a retrospective and artists with something fresh to say with JT and their collective work, they must. I highly doubt, as you say, that now after those days and Bono's rise as one of if not the leader in humanitarian/philanthropic endeavors (One.org, Red etc...) that he will jeopardize any support in the name of his art. But.......this is about exactly that and coming out of JT, with his reinterpretation of Ronald Reagan's voice in Bullet the Blue Sky, he will surely directly address Trump and he should. Edge said the tour is coming out of their lens looking at how history changing in the UK and US with Brexit/Trump elections. The power of art and music is in the blood of U2 since they were boys. Maybe instead of prodding Trump and his views he will prod him more about injustice (a theme the bands entire discography addresses) and what he is or isn't doing in the name of humanitarian aid and human rights. Bono could call him out with the gold phone he used on that tour, since Donald likes gold so much , I'm sure he'll answer.

Oooooh yes, Please into Streets....I just got chills. Love your setlist prediction because if includes songs we haven't heard live in a very long time, perhaps another nod to the retrospective of the tour? I know some people on the forum think time either pre-Joshua Tree with little post, or your evolution of great songs not heard that surrounding JT, or a real theme of politics...I think the boys are going to hit hard about social consciousness and questioning politics a majority spoke in elections on Brexit, Trump etc... the music will surround that as a theme is my prediction. We know JT was about their exploration into American music and subsequent tour/creation of Rattle and Hum which should naturally make appearances on this tour but the boys have a knack of storytelling and creating segments of song lists to do that on their tours...that will dictate the setlist...yes?

Kristinlynnx, I was thinking an alter ego of Trump, a persona like he created MacPhisto and modeled the character after Ronald Reagan for ZooTV. MacPhisto was a parody of the devil. Those songs, Even Better Than the Real Thing, God Part II, and Desire come from a voice of someone morally questionable. Thus, my hunch on that. Also, he preformed at iHeart Desire and used Trump soundbites to express greed. Just a thought....start with pointing out the complacency of popular culture, political climate, into JT which questioned the humanity of that at the time and resonates today, into the end or revolt/rebellion/strength of the masses into we are One. 40 was on my original guess as the last song a definite maybe.
