what about selling tickets valid for both without the need of doing 2 presales?

Ok, so the rumours of the stage being a volcano are kinda cracking me up.  First they came out of a lemon and now they are going to rise up out of a volcano. LOL

I like the idea of arenas but I also remember how super difficult it is to get a ticket when they do arenas. Perhaps they'd consider doing stadiums in the larger metropolitan areas in the US and then arenas for the rest? Like Seattle, LA, NY could do Stadiums? Just a thought. I'll find a way to see them either way. 

I didn't find it that difficult for the Vertigo tour with the presales here.  Hopefully, we'll get those again and all will be good.  Mind you, it was nerve wracking, but it always has been.

Now to Chris, nice to meet you, not surprised to see you in here, knew it was a matter of time really since we seem to chat about Coldplay more than U2 these days. You must have been listening to rock from a very early age if you liked U2 from the early 80's - were you put off from going to meet ups because you were still in a pram them/barely walking? I s'pose you could gurgle along to the songs.

 

Are people still mixing you up with James Morrison btw?

Hi I am 45 years old so I'm quite old in terms of being a U2 fan, I actually don't like Coldplay and I get comments thrown at me about my name but I am not as mundane and boring as THE Chris Martin.

 

As I said before I never went to meet up's because I have seen first hand how some U2 fans can be horribly obsessive and it really puts me off going to things out with concerts when it comes to U2 I'm sad to say, I have met the band a few times as I said before and have to say the behaviour from some U2 fans leaves a lot to be desired.

I'm not new and have been here since the beginning of time; but wanted to throw a big hello out to the newbies.

I remember that thread. I posted in that thread! Do you remember the story from the girl, which sadly I don't remember her name but she was in New York and in the process of meeting Larry and some jerk pushed her out of the way, made her drop her camera and Larry did the smack down on the dude? That was in that thread too. Thought it was in the paid General or Band folder.

It is a bit bright, but I don't think it's any different than the whiteness of Facebook.

Still trying to find my way around, but so far, I like it.  Just taking some time to get used to it.

The old zoo should be re-instated. It worked neatly compared to this one.

I totally agree with you!  It worked fine, the black background was wonderful......but people complained about it b/c it wasn't as innovative as other websites.  Said it was too simple.
