Derek Schumann's lasted all night... also, nothing is 100% certain and safe... conditions change, batteries end, people gets tired, roaming charges occur, some decide that they want to enjoy the show instead of broadcasting it, etc... When you go to a lot of concerts, bands tend to remember you, that guy I have heard goes to a lot of U2 shows so would not surprise me if they recognized him.
