  1. This is the one gig that in my head I was going to be at. Unfortunately my wife slapped me hard across the face shouting we can't do Ireland to Australia and back again IN A WEEK. I was , and still am convinced we could have done with that non stop flight from London. Alas. 😀 Have a good one. I will be listening in from 'the other side of the world' eating eggs n bacon, and always thinking (in my head) that I'd a great plan.
  2. Aah, missed the show this morning. Loving the tribute to MH. INXS a great band in their day. Nice one.
  3. Good luck Brisbane! I'm so looking forward to Breakfast in Ireland. Have a great show.
  4. Was never good at replying to posts on this site. So to xrayjets - it's the classic 'Whole of the Moon' by The Waterboys. Hope they mix that up a bit 2 yrs down the line. Good luck everyone, have a great show, look forward to 'tuning in' at 6AM Irish time in a few hours time. There's no buzz like a live U2 buzz!
  5. Bono in rehearsals (maybe) on Saturday night past at the 'Snow Patrol' concert I was at. What a surprise, and awesome. Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. Gary Lightbody, lead singer of Snow Patrols' home town.
  6. So, so pleased for the fans in Australia, Japan etc. Huge fanbase there and great to see the band respond to demand. Actually contemplating a trip - maybe. Arrgghh.
  7. That is so very true. I recall the gaps in seeing U2 live, the scramble or missing out on tickets - the last four years however - forever etched in my spoilt fandom of the greatest band of brothers on the rock n roll planet. Here's to U2, a very unique band who lit up my 13yr old bedroom, when I stuck my elder brothers Boy album onto a turntable in 1982. I wish them (and all of us) all the best. So many songs, so many tracks - that transcend many of the growing pains and triumphs of the life we all work through. Amen.
  8. I'm so going to visit Dirty Day so many time tonight.
  9. Keep in touch guys. Good luck for the last night in Dubs, and will tune in for Berlin. We can take pride in following the greatest band in the world - in my opinion. - and yours.
  10. Love is Bigger than....what a brilliant track, was always my favourite from the new album, just generates a SMILE.?
  11. Love you Bono - No hard border - ever- no them, only us.....we've worked too hard to create peace here. The people , north n south, won't accept the past. Thanks for a fantastic tour.
  12. 'Dirty Day' - bliss................love all U2 fans, Take care everyone....everyone.
  13. Oh you look so beautiful - what a track back in 2005 - signature tune. My last night on the tour.❤️
  14. NYD - the BONO vocal on this is amazing (Edge talent withstanding) - 'maybe the time is right, maybe tonight' - will be an abiding memory of seeing this great band live. Not full blown tears, but a welling up!!!
  15. GOOYOW sounds really great live, having had the experience. Recordings don't do the track justice.
  16. Summer Of Love - developing into a great track live.
  17. Bono talking about the EU wall between NI & Southern Ireland - Brexit etc - nothing to do with Mexico and yer man with the dodgy haircut.
