  1. I have a question that might be a little off topic, but for non-Ireland dwelling folk, should we have received an email from U2.com about this? I haven't gotten a single thing from them and that worries me because ever since I switched my email address on my account I think it's had issues sending U2.com emails to me and I don't want this to be a sign for the future and miss out on anything.

  2. People have gotten great numbers (below 100) arriving the morning of the show. People have gotten rail who arrived right before or right after the GA line went in. As long as you don't have a very specific spot in mind you don't need to get there super early.

  3. Yes, they're basically someone just selling their ticket back to ticketmaster, so you're still buying it directly through ticketmaster but now at the original ticket holder's price tag instead of ticketmaster. I bought resale tickets for my mom, aunt and cousin in Chicago with zero issues.

  4. Someone mentioned there will be no GA drops after having personally contacted MSG because the shows are 100% sold out. GA tickets at box office usually become available at the last minute or after the GA line has gone in and they have extra space available but I don't know anyone who managed to get tickets at box office. However I do know two people who managed to get GA tickets in line from other people selling them on Sunday.

  5. For those planning on getting cabs particularly after the show, it will be a nightmare trying to find a cab within a mile as everyone will have the same idea as you...best to walk a bit and then try and get a cab. If you're only a 20 minute walk or so from your hotel/area of stay, it would be wiser just to walk back as you will at least be walking halfway before you manage to get a cab.

  6. I personally don't see the need to camp out overnight with the stage layout, but to each their own. It is supposed to rain Wednesday with scattered thunderstorms however for everyone planning on getting there the night before/early the day of. And it's also supposed to rain in the morning on Thursday for those going to the second show.

  7. As of right now, none of the CCE venues have asked for identification...that doesn't mean Chicago won't but the current trend is they won't. Which is what I'm counting on because my husband got two tickets for my friend and me so I'm just going to bring his card, swipe, and hope they don't check IDs.

  8. I think a lot of the griping stems from the fact that at the first announcement of the tour there were talks of two completely different shows, so fans were hoping to be able to finally hear some deeper tracks....when this idea was scratched it left a lot of fans feeling frustrated, even though nothing was ever actually confirmed there would be a night of deep tracks, it was just the rumor mill starting up. Combine this confusion with the songs chosen for this tour and you'll get some very frustrated and let down fans.

  9. Has anyone had any issues getting in with a credit card that was not longer active/had the number changed? We just had our credit card info stolen and have to get a new credit card number on the account used to purchase our GA tickets for Chicago with. I wanted to know if anyone else has had issues getting into the venue with this, or if they just brought their old card.

  10. I asked about the venue's policy for GA line so we could get as much clarification as possible since each venue has different rules and to prevent multiple lines from forming...this is what I got as a reply from United Center:

"Guests can start lining up on the morning of their particular show. We're not giving an exact time as everyone will show up at different times.

You'll line up outside of Gate 5 by the Michael Jordan statue. Please keep in mind there will be no bathroom or food options while waiting in line.

There is no overnight camping for GA guests.

Hope this helps, please let me know if you have any other questions."

I am waiting to hear back if someone working at the venue will be in charge/lining people up and giving them wrist bands or if it will be a self-monitored situation but once I have more information I will post it. If anyone has other questions let me know so I can send them to the person I am in correspondence with!

  11. Has anybody heard or have information on the procedure for those who won the student tickets off Chegg? I know they had winners for the LA shows and my friend and I both have the tickets for Boston and wanted to know if anyone can provide details on what to expect/how it worked.

  12. That's why I never ask for an autograph...I feel so bad. The most I've ever asked is for a photo with them but that's never ever in a setting where there's hundreds of other people. I know I'd get cranky if I had to deal with people pushing and shoving all while thrusting anything and everything in my face! Think of it this way...they're not going to remember you, they're probably not even going to get a good look at your face while they sign whatever it is you hand to them. I see and hear about so many fans who will go to everything to try and meet the band, and have had multiple interactions with them in the hopes of being remembered by them as if it will give them some sort of leg up, or just bragging rights. In my opinion it's just not worth dealing with the pushing and shoving...in fact sometimes the band won't come out if the crowd is way too big or aggressive.
