Didn't get even a reply from U2.com, Bigwave or U2 on Twitter... Really disappointed... What's the point of my paid subscription if I can't use the benefits of subscription?
Now I don't have a presale code working anymore also I don't have the tickets I want...

we inundated as you can see from this topic... we trying to get people to fix this as best we can..

Ticketmaster has not responded to me via email for 3 days now regarding my presale order. I went from asking to exchange the 2 Minneapolis Red Zone tickets I panic-bought in the Red Hill presale for 2 GAs, to simply asking for a refund. They said they had no GAs to offer me anyway.
We'll see if they even respond. I think it is a fair compromise since they didn't offer the tickets they were supposed to the fan club at the time.

    Ugh.

if you get no joy, i am sure you will find someone in zoo who will do some kind of trade, stick a post up in the Minneapolis forum see what response you get maybe?

New on here.  Wondering if the floor is split up into sections.  We have section 2 and I was wondering if this saves us from having to wait in line all day?

also depends on which city, i.e. dublin will have red zone & 2 floor sections

It's 100% against the rules to do that. If they discover you've done this, they could cancel your purchase.

That said, all of the scalpers are doing it and it doesn't seem like anyone has been caught or penalized, so if they're all getting away with it with the goal of exploiting fans, it doesn't really seem like a crime for you to do it just to protect yourself.

I have a ticket to a show I'm no longer sure that I can make, and I'd rather sell it at face value or even give it to another fan for free than have it go to waste. But if I can't make it, going to waste is the only other option for me. Doesn't seem ideal either.

prepaid card you mean? link? (will need to check this, obviously we don't want to give bad advice to anyone)

Yes, but my point was, the original poster didn't get any kind of immediate response from the fan club, which was the first failing. Then a moderator here says to talk to Ticketmaster instead of there being someone here officially empowered to help. Then Ticketmaster can't help. Etc. Bigwave, I am not saying that you are personally responsible for these shortcomings in the system. I'm simply saying there are shortcomings that other fan clubs don't have, and if U2 is the best band, why don't they have the best fan club?

thanks. I get what you are saying, and its always good to get double, treble confirmation of things even so we are all on the same page. Its a big organisation, with lots of departments I guess is what I am saying. We do our best here to help knit them together... bit by bit.

Sadly, this has been my experience with U2 ticketing specifically for this tour, and more generally for all past tours since LiveNation took over their touring business on the 360 tour.

There's no official channel to ever reach a representative of U2 to ask a question.  Ticketmaster provides one set of answers.  LiveNation provides an entirely different set of answers.  The venue provides yet another set of answers.  Worst of all, no one takes responsibility for anything, so if you end up with an issue and genuinely require assistance, there's no one that can help.

This is not how ticketing or a fan club should be run.  I'm not saying they're better musicians, but the Dave Matthews Band has a better fanclub - they take full responsibility for ticket sales and if you have a question, you can actually talk to a human being who has the knowledge and authority to answer it.

as people have posted here , 4 in presales, 2 in general sale, 6 total.

Before I call Customer Service about this email, I'm wondering if anyone else got this odd, likely scam email from 'Customer Service at Ford Field'?

It purports to tell me that I purchased two tickets and they 'wonder' if I want them both.  Hmmm

The transaction has not posted to my account yet, but I only received one receipt for one ticket.

    1) When I look at the printout provided by them in the email, it is the same order number for both tickets...first flag

    2) Then there is this odd form to fill out -- it doesn't ask me for any personal info, but did laugh at these lines

    I’m a BIG U2 fan and keeping all my order(s). *

    Yes
    No
I am still a BIG U2 fan, and would like to keep order(s): *
Please list the order number(s) that you would like to keep.
