Looking at the photos, it's weird to see such a huge towering stage in such a small venue. And yet, in the shots taken from close to the stage, it makes the arena look a lot bigger for some reason.

So...the gist I'm getting from the announcement is that U2 are announcing their own radio station. Anyone else reckon that's the case? I'm a bit confused. Elevation was awesome though. Haven't been following this tour as closely as I'd like to be.

Hang on...Shadow Man AND MacPhisto in the same night? NOW I'm jealous!
Also, amazing to see EBW and LIBTAIIA in there. Good to see Innocence & Experience being partially incorporated into the Joshua Tree shows. Also...just watched the recording of One Tree Hill posted above. That was emotional.

Sad that I'll be at work while the show's happening, but looking forward to coming back here tomorrow evening and reading all the posts!

You’re probably looking at 10-11(ish)am GMT. Those in North America will be the ones up with the chickens....
Gahhh, I'm usually at work around that time! 😢

I've just realised - live threads are going to be a thing again! Let's see if time zones permit to tune into these ones...

Any ideas on who will be the support act for asia dates?
Where will the Asia tickets be sold? Specifically South Korea. I want to set up an account before the presale.
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are supporting on all shows. Good choice too, saw him at Twickenham on the 2017 Joshua Tree tour and also twice headlining in his own right!

Anyone watched this video on the band's Instagram? I was having an okay day, then I watched it, and now I'm a mess.

I had wondered if they'd start back to touring sooner than people thought because they are in such good form right now. They've always been great live. To me, they seem to have reached a new level. Why stop for a long period of time? All the EI shows sounded so good; especially toward the end of the EI tour. Stadium? I had wondered if they would do EI in stadiums the way they took Vertigo from arenas in America to stadiums in Europe. A twinge of envy still hits me when I see the on those huge screens in Europe for that part of the Vertigo tour. No way can I get to Australia or New Zealand but there's always these live threads.
From what the source says this tour wouldn't be part of the EI tour. That said I wouldn't be surprised if the setlist included a lot of Innocence/Joshua Tree/Experience material to give the Ozzies a taste of what they'd missed previously.

It's been almost 24 hours. The withdrawal symptoms have kicked in.

Created a poll in the general thread asking what seems to be the question of questions: which tour from the last 4 years was your favourite?

Setlist wise, the last four years have been a goldmine. We've had:
-At least one song played from every album
-The return of A Sort of Homecoming, Exit, Staring At the Sun, Wild Horses, etc.
-The live debuts of Red Hill Mining Town and Acrobat
-A song from Pop FINALLY making a return as a regular (even though it wasn't for the whole tour)
-9 out of 11 Songs of Innocence
-12 out of 13 Songs of Experience
-The entirety of The Joshua Tree
-3 quarters of Achtung BabyNever say they don't spoil us!

Blessed are the Zootops, for they are crazy!

I've gotta say, a massive thanks to you guys for being great company on this tour and indeed during the past 4 years of U2-related adventures. And of course, thank you to Bono, Edge, Adam and Larry for all the content they've given us over the last 4 years, and, on a personal level, for 4 mind-blowing shows. Gonna miss this stuff over the next few years, but can't wait to do it all again sooner or later.

Good morning from the UK! Hoping to actually tune into the show this time round, haven't followed this tour that closely.
EDIT: Oh. Just seen that it was only the one show.
