Between me and a buddy we had no problem getting tickets for 4 shows this tour.

There were certainly issues, but I ended up with tickets in the price points I was looking for.

Quite surprised that a second Toronto date wasn't added on the Thursday.

The positive spin is that with only 2 shows in the 8 days preceding the Toronto show I expect Bono's vocals to be in top form!

Last summer my 8 yr old saw Springsteen play in Milan for over 3.5 hrs.

U2 will be no problem (Rome)!

Those Pittsburg fees are shocking.

It sounds appealing when you say it like that.  

 

But I didn't like GA even when I was a teenager, never mind now.    For me it's being pushed around, getting drinks spilled on me and a sore neck.  

 

I like being further away to take in the whole show, for 360 and the last tour you missed so much if you were very close.  But you've made me wonder about trying GA sometime.

 

 

Now I'm all out of luck on the public sale.  And people wonder why we use scalpers.

I hope you do find a decent ticket. I would encourage you to keep checking regularly (I know it's a pain.): I have grabbed fantastic seats for many shows (Springsteen, Pearl Jam...) in the days leading up to a show.

And I would also add that GA does allow you the choice of hanging back a bit so you are not in the throng (I'm guessing you could stand by the sound board and have enough room to swing your arms around.) Having said that, my +1 will have nothing to do with GA (esp in a stadium) so I certainly understand why one might not be convinced!

i am sorry but this is not correct as i have friends with partially used codes that are not struck through.

if there is a presale this week, those of us with partially used struck through codes will mot have time to rectify.

Curious: what was the total price (all fees incl.) for a single RZ ticket in Toronto?

The promo photo being used was (allegedly) shot in 2015. Unless they were just goofing around that day and said "Hey, let's recreate the JT cover for kicks" I am also skeptical that this tour was just thrown together as a result of Trump's election.

I still have 2 tickets left on my presale code (left in the hope of a second local show being announced with presale access.) It is however, now showing as struck-through (eg. JAXY123456)

Is this because the presale is over, or does this suggest an error that I have used my 4 ticket allotment?

I imagine there are a number of us who will notice this in the coming days, so any help a MOD could provide in getting this clarified would be appreciated.

My total price for 2 GA tickets was $304.00 CDN!! (I did pay for the €9,00 insurance, but holy hell that's a lot of added fees. 2 Presale fee × € 10.50)

Still, tough to beat an Italian crowd!

 

 

Fun fact: if you call ticketmaster customer service, if you push hard enough, they WILL exchange your tickets for different, still available tickets, for a fee of $7 per tickets.

Big thanks to jessebasi for posting this. A good friend of mine was able to swap the relative crappy 500 levels seats she bought for a pair of GA (that weren't available when she was online when the presale started.)

That is NOT how the 10 Club works anymore.

Members  indicate which shows (as many as they like) they want to buy a PAIR for.

Then there is a lottery during which member numbers get pulled. Seniority gets you no advantage at this point.

IF your name is pulled, then your membership number (seniority) is how seats are allocated. 

So, their system results in some members getting not even 1 ticket to 1 show, while others get pairs to multiple shows.

As a 10C member who has not had his number drawn for the last 3 PJ tours and the last EV tour it won't surprise you to learn that I think their system sucks.

3 days into a members-only sale and people at u2.com are STILL able to get GA tickets. There are clearly issues with how U2.com is executing the presale, but be careful what you wish for.
