Or should I bang over to NJ if I want a double dose?
-
I'm guessing you're picking up your RZ commemorative tickets outside, and then all six of your are going through GA and, once inside, you can enter the RZ.
-
Yeah it's hard to get an idea based on the stadium seating chart and how big that stage will really be. My concern is I'm bringing my kids and if we line up on the stage near the Edge, it might be hard for them to see over everyone when they go to the side stage.
If they can see the band on the stage closest to them, they will totally be able to see them on the stage further away... aside from jockeying to see between heads a bit.
I got RZ for Seattle. I see on my tickets page "Your tickets are being held at the venue's box office for pick up day of the event." Does it mean that I have to search for some box office at the stadium to pick up my RZ ticket? Is it long line to these offices?
They tend not to hide them too discreetly. And if most GA people and seats people are credit card entry (without any need to visit the box office), and people with seats further away can print their tickets, one imagines there won't be much action at the box office...

Didn't even need to use the presale code for RedZone, so RedHill and Wires group could both access tickets on Wednesday morning.
I get the frustration, and thankfully I didn't have this issue booking RZ for Philly, but if the expectation in advance was that you needed a code, why does everyone think so many Wires and non-fanclub people bought all of the RZ up? I mean, we had it pretty well sorted for the US dates by comparison, but even then a lot of people couldn't buy them or even get an offer for RZ tix on a certain date. Couldn't it just be that almost all the RZ was sold to RedHill anyway?
-
Are we expecting more US dates, ya think?
-
Yeah, the ticket limit was based on sales during the presale, not whether you used a code.
-
They all have the Sell button, but when I clicked it for my RZ tix, and typed in the code they e-mailed me, it said I couldn't sell them.
-
Why don't you just buy all 4 tickets and all go together?!
-
How do you go about getting a commemorative ticket ?Unfortunately, we do not have them here in the States, that I know of.
It sounds like I'm getting one in RZ for Philly?
"Thank you for purchasing a (RED) Zone ticket. Your souvenir ticket included in the package will be available for pickup at the venue the day of the show."
Is that something different?

I'm not a paid member of U2 site, so I'm going to be purchasing my tickets when they go on sale to the general public here in the U.S. I was wondering if they will put any general admission tickets for sale for the general public as well? I've been to Elevation and 360 tour and was able to get a general admission for 360, hoping to have the same luck this time for the Joshua tree tour.
I bought GA for multiple MSG dates on the last tour. So, if it can be done for an arena with a compromised floor, a stadium should be do-able.
-
The commemorative ticket is probably a solve for all the people who complained they didn't have a ticket to "collect" on the I+E tour.
I highly doubt it will be scannable. Purely ornamental.

Weirdly, my Philly RZ only had $6.75 in fees?!?
-
Always seems odd that they say it's to curb resale, when TM has its own resale-sanctioned site
It is up to the performer as to whether to allow reselling on the Ticketmaster site.
That said, going through their site for resold tickets IS the best option, though, as they cancel the original bar codes and reissue new ones to the new buyer. That avoids the case where someone sells the same PDF on Craigslist to 10 people and basically whoever gets theirs scanned first is the only one that gets in...

I had my MacBook and my iPad (both using Safari) on my lap. I refreshed the page 3 seconds prior to 09:00 on both devices. The MacBook loaded first and I locked on to two GA tickets for London. By the time the page loaded on the iPad, they were unavailable. Milliseconds, people...
Yes, but you're not factoring in all of the people with two or more browsers who got more tickets than they needed or could buy, which then got tossed back into the queue, no? ;-)
-
Not sure if this tour is different, but they held back RZ for public sale last time. I was able to buy RZ for MSG shows after using my codes already, so I would try again in today's pre-sale, and again for public sale.
-
Can anyone tell me where the 70 or 100 pricing seating is located?
The whole non-Red Zone floor is 70, no?
-
Most people buying RZ are buying specifically NOT to queue up. So, have at it, we'll see you in there a few hours later from 15 feet behind you. ;-)
-
Complete BS. I clicked the 350. Immediately. and there was NOTHING. Was forced to by reserved seats, which means that even if they fix the red zone nonsense I am stuck in regular seats because it is credit card entry. So pissed off.
Just means you have to enter the venue with the people you sell your seats to, no?
-
Not queuing, basically.
-
This band is my religion
It doesn't count as tithing if you complain about it. ;-)

Most stadium shows for the NYC area are in East Rutherford, NJ. They even run special buses to/from the show from Port Authority.
-
Anyone know the difference between "GA Floor Standing Room Only" and "Red Zone GA Standing Room Only"? - these were options for Boston - not sure if other cities had the same options; both options $75 - assume RZ in not actually in the RZ for that price - very confusing!
Usually, there is a small message that says they couldn't find the section you want, but here is the closest they have... so a "you asked for RZ, but here are GA instead" sort of thing.
-
Got one for Philly immediately
-
No clue what you're doing wrong, but I can still pull up Philly GA now with the presale code...
Is it allowed/weird/dumb to have a GoPro in the RED Zone?
in Red Zone Area

Technically, we were also invited to weigh in on whether it was allowed, weird, or dumb, too. ;-)
The more important bit is whether it negatively impacts the concert experience of people around/behind you.
