  1. There are no separate GA zones. GA tickets often have "sections" indicated on them but there is just one big happy GA section.
  2. You'll probably be able to use your chair until at least 3:00 or so.
  3. Wishing everyone at Bono-roo a great time tonight! Very curious what the setlist will look like. If they still do the entire JT album it won't leave a lot of time for other stuff if they only get 90 minutes.
  4. This is a great point. Definitely a good idea to print out your TM receipt and bring it just in case. At one show they had to swipe my card about 10 times before it finally read it successfully. If your card can't be read for whatever reason you would need to go to the box office to get a paper ticket and having your receipt would make that process a whole lot easier I'm sure.
  5. LOL! Best of luck in the public sale. Will be making the trek from Austin for this show and I'm really excited for an outdoor show! Hope we get nice early fall weather, not hot late summer weather :).
  6. TM couldn't care less. They're probably laughing at all of the desperate U2 fans calling them in a panic.
  7. Mods are the best!!! I wasn't going to go to any of these shows, but I got so caught up in this that now it looks like I'll be making the trek from Austin to KC :). Still one ticket left should NOLA end up being added :).
  8. Indeed. Lots of complaints about sound in Dallas, but I thought the sound was great on the floor in both Houston and Dallas. Would help if the roofs were opened.
  9. Hopefully you'll be able to get them. At least you're getting close. Most people are not even able to access GA at all.
  10. Fair enough. I'll trade the hours for a better view any day. RZ has a great view for a small portion of the show, but not so great for most.
  11. People with new memberships will probably be able to get GA tickets easier, as the issue seems to be that 2 or more tickets were already purchased with the code. The few who have all 4 left prior to today are getting GA.
  12. I think I need help. I'm obsessing over the presale even though I won't be going to any more shows on this tour unless they add something closer to home :).
  13. If you're up for GA, I would highly recommend that you go for GA tickets. It seems that most people are able to get them in the presale. I have never went for seats in the presale, but there are always people complaining that they could only get crap seats in the presale and some lucky ones that get good seats. There will be huge demand for the San Diego show with that being the only California stop on that leg. On this tour people have been able to get great spots in GA even showing up around the time gates open.
  14. The Saints have a home game 3 days after the rumored date. Not sure if that would be a problem or not. Hope to see that date announced, but I definitely won't count on it.
  15. Yeah, I think you could very well be right on that. Not super excited about the Superdome for a venue, but that is on the edge of my 500-mile "must attend radius" so I'll be going if it gets added :).
  16. True except for Atlanta and New Orleans.
  17. You shouldn't stress too much over getting to the venue at the crack of dawn. I was #125 in Houston and got main stage rail in front of Adam. For Dallas I was #525 and was two (short) people back from rail at main stage between Bono and Adam. People with #s over 1,000 were just a couple rows back from me. I think the popularity of the Tree stage is making it easier to get good spots at the main stage. I could have had a great spot at the Tree stage either night but I think main stage is the way to go. The band spends at least 4 times as much time on the main stage, and although it is higher than the Tree stage the view is still amazing. Sure, you can't see the whole screen without moving your eyes, but personally I don't give a crap about the screen. I'll see that when the blu-ray comes out ??. At the Tree stage you can have a great view for those 4 or 5 songs, but that puts you too far away for most of the show.
  18. Yes, I got an email directly from NRG yesterday with the updated info. Lineup and parking open at 6:00.
  19. Disappointed by this. It's not going to be that hot wednesday and sound would be better with roof open.
  20. I think gates are opening at 5.
  21. All they did was dropped ASOH and swapped Little Things for I Will Follow. If they really wanted to mix it up for fans going both nights they would need to switch out 5 or 6 songs which we all know is never going to happen from one night to the next. I liked that they shuffled the portion of the show after JT. Moving Miss Sarajevo to the beginning of the encore gave the show an opportunity to rebuild momentum towards the end.
  22. From a few posts up: When can fans start lining up for general admission? One parking gate will open at 11am and Bud Light Plaza will open at 1pm for GA fans to begin lining up.Where will the general admission entrance be located? GA guests will enter on the south side of the building. They will go through security in Bud Light Plaza and have their tickets scanned at either the Ford or Amegy Gates. I would be pretty surprised if there isn't a significant line forming at 1:00.
