  1. I don't think most liberals have any desire to be united with the conservatives that support the current administration. As far as I'm concerned, the wedge needs to keep being pounded in.
  2. And just because someone is a musician and not an American is no reason for them not to comment on American politics.
  3. Already obsessing over arrival time, etc. for Houston and Dallas shows. Will be driving from Austin for both and don't want to pay for hotels. Hoping 6 a.m. arrival will be early enough for prime spots. Looks like the main stage is so high that the B-stage might be the way to go this time.
  4. Still over 1,700 GA tix left while most other cities are sold out. What's up Houston?!?!
  5. People sure do have specific ideas of what the band "should" do. You know what? They can do whatever the hell feels right to them at the time. If you're not happy with it, quit your bitching and just stay home.
  6. Yeah, my wife asks me when I'm going to grow up. Last tour I drove 1,000 miles each way from Austin to Phoenix for both shows there, slept in my car to keep it cheap (used camping hygiene supplies ) and enjoyed every minute of it. I'm 53 but will never grow up when it comes to U2 shows.
  7. GA for Houston and Dallas. I live in Austin, which is 2.5 hours from each. Happy not to have to travel 1,000 miles this tour (but would if I had to)!
  8. Total and complete agreement. As long as I'm in the building, I don't care where the seats are. You guys are both crazy. There is a HUGE difference in the experience depending on how close you are.
  9. If you're gonna do the floor, forget about using the bathroom .
  10. As always I was really nervous about this, but got GA for Houston and Dallas with no problems whatsoever. GA still available for both now at 9:25.
  11. You can be very confident that your code will work for multiple transactions as long as you don't atempt to exceed the four ticket total limit. It is very easy for Ticketmaster's systems to determine how many tickets have been purchased with your code. I have done multiple transactions with my code for the last several tours and never had a problem.
  12. Referring to Coldplay "sounding great" you guys are obviously talking about the quality of the sound, not the quality of the music . I was in GA the last time U2 played at AT&T and the sound was fine, but I remember that there were a lot of comments from people in the upper tiers that said it was horrible and some parts were complete mush. Hopefully they will have the roof open this time.
  13. I think your daughter would be perfectly safe in GA. The only concern would be that she won't be able to see anything unless you are somewhere on the rail.
  14. 35 is too old?!?! I'm 53 and will be there by 8 a.m. for the 2 shows I'm going to .
  15. I think it will definitely be in album order, but not at the beginning of the show. Bands agonize for a long time over the running order of songs on their albums and if they're going to play the whole thing they're not likely to mix up the order.
  16. There's nothing at all depressing about going to a concert by yourself. You can't really talk to anyone during a show anyway and people who talk every time there is a quiet enough moment to (like during acoustic moments) are usually being d-bags and ruining the show for those around them. Will be going to two nights back to back on my own and meeting some new friends during the 8 hours or more of line-up before the show!
  17. Maybe it's because Phoenix was the only show in the mountain time zone, but I just got one GA ticket for each night with no problems whatsoever. If you're still having trouble getting the tickets you want and need to travel to get to a show anyway, Phoenix might be one to consider.
  18. Ditto. Everyone can chill now . Hopefully it will be as easy to get tickets as it was for the last tour.
