Big big thanks to Max & Mich for the texts & images & info above - here it is, the first live thread of the #U2TheJoshuaTreeTour2017!

We spruced the place up all special and are all looking forward big style to what comes.

Seems appropriate to open the live threads on the singers birthday, we hear there might be a few celebrations tonight... and rumours that the GA line is already underway (more on that as we know)

we decided to let things run in each city forum, like this one, seems to be working fine... will let others chime in about best protocols, but PM system here is useful tool and keep copies of all correspondence in case of any problems down the line...

I had the same question, JCF, and also I was wondering, if the backing track has to be audible in the clip or not.

i would offer up whatever you think works... in fact i did to test all was working, the form seems to have disappeared on the news story temporarily but I notified them & hopefully back very soon.

I will add in next post a chorus of what I sent up as a test to prove anyone can do it

Any news on the fan trade section? I've definitely got a spare ticket for Twickenham on the Saturday up in the nosebleeds that I would prefer not to resale to Ticketmaster

 

For now we are pointing / moving any ticket sales / requests into each city related sub forum -  London - Twickenham Stadium

 

Thanks for your thoughts/advice, everyone.  I called VIP TM and they simply allowed me to add my name as pickup up my wife's order, so (thank God) the RZ situation is settled.  I potentially have the same issue with our Cleveland GAs, but like Jeff says, they basically never check IDs for those--only credit cards.  Just to be thorough, I emailed TM support and asked for a response explicitly "clearing" us.  I'll keep everyone posted, and good luck in your own situations!

I'm interested in whatever response you get as well, because I have a similar situation.  I used a credit card for my wife and son to use, and called TicketMaster since my name is on the card - not hers.  I pointed out to them on the phone that I could definitely add her to my credit account and she would have a card - but it would not be the card I used.

 

Their response was:  "It's fine, she can just bring the card you used for the order and it will be OK".  

 

I further clarified that I would NOT be there - and she would be using a card with my name on it - and they said, "It's OK - it doesn't matter."

 

I would advise you get that in writing, as it seems to go against their official policy in many places.

Ha... Let me clarify. By creative trade I meant making apples to apples out of some combination of RZ and GA. and cash. I am not looking to pay more than face value or charge anyone more than face value. I am looking to get Pitch 2 tix to Croke. And I am saying that I am happy to use whatever combination I have including cash, my extra GA's and if I must- my RZ for Chicago (based on what the person I am trading with has/needs)... Better?

as yet that's an unknown, I would guess if we do get any more shows announced for this year that have presales, then any unused codes would be valid for those... but only time will tell.

Anybody else having this problem? I put in 3 tickets and was told # of tickets exceeded limit but when I put in 2 it went right through. I should have 4 total on my presale code right? Thanks! I have not used it at all because the 1st presale was a fiasco for me!

might have only been 2 tix left for that section at the time (in that case not a code issue, but an inventory issue?)
