I'm having problems with this right now.  So, I purchased my subscription about a week ago (yes, it had long since lapsed).  I got my membership code and was all set for presale.  Of course, presale has been a disaster.  I've literally been in front of my computer since 8am this morning trying to secure half decent tickets (what I'm REALLY wanting is RZ).  I finally managed to get some tix in stands, but paid a fortune for them.  Got them out of desperation though.  Then ordered two more mediocre tix.  Felt very unsatisfied.  I cancelled one set through Ticketmaster, which left me with a pair.  Meanwhile, I STILL don't have what I really want, which is RZ.  But, now I'm out of luck, cuz the code is no longer valid, since it thinks I've purchased 4 tix (I returned a pair, so down to a pair).  Day continues on and I keep trying and trying, mostly out of curiosity now.  Suddenly, at about 4pm, I can now buy GA tix (hadn't been available before), BUT I have to buy them with ANOTHER U2.com membership.  Out of desperation, I did it!  I then went back to Ticketmaster and returned the second pair of lousy seats (Ticketmaster was kind and let me do that).  So, now I'm back down to just 2 GA tix, and two U2.com memberships that I can't so anything with.  

 

I called U2.com customer-service, and explained by situation, hoping they could help me out and reset by code somehow for the two more tix I'm entitled too with the 1st membership or provide a code for the 2nd membership.  In fact, I how have 2 tix, 2 memberships, and 0 code access!  But it's a no go!  Unfortunately, I found U2.com customer service to be quite rude, and insinuated that I'd buy extra tix just to scalp them.  If I was a scalper, I wouldn't get my extra tix from buying a membership. They were very unsympathetic and unhelpful.  

 

So I'm up a hill now!

deciding to cancel 2 of the 4 tix purchased on your code - there is nothing we can do about that here I am afraid, as presales end later today.. maybe worth trying to email/call TM again to see if you get a more favourable outcome by speaking to another person..

Thanks. I do get the code rules. What we need to know is how do you get the code if you signed up via ticketmaster today and only bought two tickets?

Its doubtful you will know at this point but in previos tours unused codes were given a brief window to be used before general sale I think

Are tickets being drip fed into ticketmaster system or is that just a myth

 

As much as I like it on here I cant keep continually going on ticketmaster in the hope that I may get lucky so it would be nice to know if tickets are being released

I need to sell 2 tix- I'll save you the presale TM fiasco story, just face value. It appears there is no way, per TM. But other tickets are listed on StubHub etc. Anyone know how that was done. I asked them and they gave me a line about a pilot project that I couldn't join....?

I think you're still not getting what I'm talking about.  If you look (on TM) at the drop-down list that appears when you click and hold on "onsale times", it lists a variety of presales and associated times--including, of course, the RedHill Group, Wires group, etc.  What I'm talking about appears to be different--namely, there's another entry that says something like "VIP Package Presale" (no mention of fanclub, etc.) that was supposed to start at 12:00 local time today (Thursday).  Check it out yourself; you'll see what I mean.  The fact that it's a separately listed presale (and with no mention of fanclub, etc.) certainly makes it look like it's some kind of distinct presale.  This is what I was trying to access/find out more about.  Above, you're talking about the fanclub stuff, which is different.

Does anyone know how to get a Wires code if you signed up for membership via Ticketmaster today?

 

Reason I'm asking, my cousin paid the extra $50, and bought two tickets today.

Now, she would like to buy two more, but does not have a code.

Any ideas?

 

(She tried entering her email into U2.com to do a password reset, but was told no membership associated with the email, so I'm thinking Ticketmaster and U2.com have not exchanged that data yet.)

if she has only used the code for 2 tickets, then she can use same code for another 2 (valid for 4 tix over up to 4 transaction)

Talked to someone at Ticketmaster, they said only 200 tickets were released for LA Rose Bowl. WTH????? I've never had this issue before. What's the point of a presale if there is nothing to get?

Can I buy two sets of tixs for same show with different CC? Or woud that be an issue....would not be exceding ticket limit of 4 anyways

should be ok, but cc holder for each crd would need to be present for that set of tickets... if that makes sense

advice is to keep trying, success being had sometimes takes many tries.... i know its a pain

I didn't get any GA for Rose Bowl through Wires presale!! So pissed!!!

try bringing up red zone, someone just said they did that and it presented them with GA - odd I know but worth a try...
