Well it's now 5pm, I've spent hours ploughing through these threads for ideas and trying them, hours wasted, and I got nothing.

I re-joined the site to purchase tickets in the pre-sale, that was my only reason.  How do I go about getting my money back?

    Subscriptions are non-refundable.

Even under these circumstances?     It never entered my head that you guys would let this could happen.

Now I feel ripped off and disrespected by the U2 family and business, and that feeling will now be connected to music I love and have loved since 1987 and before.  The loss is much greater than the $50, please.... there must be something that can be done.

You can of course make a complaint via the Help page dropdown menu http://www.u2.com/help

Use the form on the right of the page, let us know what reply you get, thanks.

  2. at 1:01 this morning I finally got 2 GA tickets!!! I worked late and then returned home thinking I'd give it a try. When I was attempting my very last try I was surprised to see that my order was being processed. Now here is the odd part. . . I gave up on the option to let the computer find the "best available," which is a joke, and used the 'choose a seat option' that is not always available. I'm not sure how I worked it to get to that option, but once I saw it was available I thought it was worth a try. I was able to click on the floor GA area and after a few, well, many, attempts it finally worked.

Once the order was processed through TM, I thought it was odd that there is the option to sell my tickets once I've purchased them. There is big money to be made here, and I think TM and whomever is managing U2 are not struggling to put a stop to it.

Well done for having such patience and perseverance. In an ideal world it would not have to be that way... but good to hear your success in getting you tix...

OK I give up. I'm not being taken to the cleaners for a couple of seats, when all i want is GA.

It's great you sign up to get access but only access to super expensive seats, or take your chances with the public on monday morning, roll the dice and still be £50 out of pocket.

    absolute shambles.

GA might be sold out i am trying to find out if thats the case. Note we are into day 3 of presales now and its first come first served, always has been...

    Hi bigwave,

Can U2.com should secure another batch of GA tickets for the presale?  I know this is possible, in principle, as I've seen this done before with fanclub presales elsewhere.

    Cheers,

    SonicD

awaiting a reply from my earlier enquiry about that...

  4. I rejoined the U2 fan club purely to get pre sale tickets.   I've run out of time and have wasted hours with the same problems as others, no tickets available, $70 GA tickets only, or continuous searching.  Feel like I want to shoot myself.

I wonder if I can get the $50 back, I hate feeling ripped off it taints the whole experience.

just checking now - these are showing as available (in blue)

  6. Prevent scalpers? Not.

Just checked Stubhub for Vancouver show, and more than half the (several hundred!) available seats are instant delivery - despite all venue seats stating "credit card delivery".

So what, are they sending you their credit card too? This stinks.

  7. The fuss is WIRE group subscribers were supposed to be able to get tickets at 9am this morning.  No one was able to get anything until tickets mysteriously became available at 11:30am.  That means many of us spent two and a half hours clicking on Search Again to no avail until the great ticket release.  For those of us who did not give up, we were rewarded but it was nerve wracking until then.

good point, one which I will try to follow up...

  8. What if I use different CC but under the same name for both my wife's code and mine? Not sure why but TM does not accept her CC (the one used for her membership) and I already called the bank and there are no issues. Also, I would use it on her TM account, not mine.

with some shows the credit card used to purchase is your actual entry ticket also, need to present it when entering venue (ticketless tickets they are called). If you are using your card and going to show with her too, then there should be no problem

  9. I am sure the question has been answered but i can't find it anywhere......

If two members of the same household are members and have presale codes, it looks like only 4 tickets total can be purchased?

Even if each member uses a credit card in their name?

4 tickets per membership, best practice to use different cards per membership
