I am an Irish subscriber got no email and by chance just logged in to see if any update. I see other have been able to purchase tickets but my code is doing nothing when I enter.

 

Did other Irish subscribers not get the email and how can I buy tickets?

I rang 0018558675297 spoke to a guy called Brian. I told him my issue and he put me on hold to speak to a 'floor lead'. When he came back on he GAVE ME A NEW CODE Worked then!!!! Good luck everyone.

After reading the above posts, I changed from ticketmaster.ie to ticketmaster.co.uk- the format was different-

and I thought it was going to work for a couple of seconds- but NO!!

as you were not an active subscriber (we are told) at the time of the announcement, then unfortunately you are not eligible... sorry 

 

But I was a subscriber when the tour dates were announced in December last year, I did receive a presale code, I wasn't to know when the Dublin dates would be announced. It was clearly stated that these codes would be eligible when the Dublin dates would be announced, there was no proviso- "if by that time you are still a subscriber" if it had been stated- of course I would have resubscribed. Now I have resubscribed today- I have paid 2 subscriptions and have no access to the presale. I am not so much annoyed about the situation, as the lack of clarity. 

 

Best advice would be to ring this number, 001-949-333-4820 +001 855 867 5297 (from outside USA) and explain fully,

I just rang U2.com (thank you Joe OLeary hadn't thought of that!) and got a new code it worked and I got two tickets, there did seem to be availability (I just took what I was given, happy to be in the door).

All standing tickets for the six shows are sold out. Saturday in Dublin is fully sold out. Rang U2 and they gave me a new code but paying more to sit down for a less enjoyable experience is a pain. Thinking about not going to any. I am going to London but seeing them in Ireland is brilliant.

I have what I hope is not a totally stupid question.  If this is best asked in a different forum, please let me know.  Have people tried paying for tickets with a friends credit card using your own Ticketmaster account?  I am considering doing that for a friend, since I have a presale code but can't go to Dublin.  I'm in the U.S., so I'm also considering keeping my code for possible 2016 North American dates if they're announced before my subscription expires.  I'm just leary because I'm in a different country, so if there are any problems, it will likely be more difficult to resolve them.  I don't have sufficient funds to purchase seat tickets on my own and just sell them to my friend, and there's not enough time for her to Paypal money to me.

 

Any thoughts are appreciated - thanks so much!!

would need to be at your own risk  -on many levels... 

because they are on sale on seatwave does that mean they are "in hand" so to speak, if so they must of printed them sharpish announcement was only Wednesday.

Bigwave...my subscription was due to expire on 10th September 2015, but I renewed it on the 26th August. Could my presale code not be working, because it's tied in someway with the 10th September renewal date?

Hi Bigwave, Not sure if it was me you were referring to when you said not showing as a subscriber. I'm a paid subscriber since April, am Dublin based, checked my address and its correct (got my vinyl delivered last week so address is correct on the system) got my presale email last night.

 

I didn't have a code for the first lot of dates released not sure if that has any impact.
