Thanks for your supporting comments in here. I'm saddened there's no response from a mod, even if just to explain why only certain types of news appear.

The thing is that the U2.com updates is completely outside of our control... the moderator team is responsible for Zootopia.

The news are part of u2.com... there's a team responsible for the updates and it's their decision what to publish in the news section.

if possible, resize the photo you want to use as an avatar to a size similar as the one you are currently using (the one of your cat)...

if that's not possible, let us know. There's always a solution... =)

Not working for me! Computer says all the pics I've tried are too large. My msg says 50kb max not 200kb. The pics I've tried uploading are less than 200kb????? Confused!

for best result make the image not bigger than 200px wide/tall... use this as a guideline:

Not possible, but you can add it to a post from YouTube or Vimeo...

 

The new Zoo has a nice, clean look to it but I still have to get used to it.  Overall I like it.  =)

I've been a paid subscriber since 2004/2005 when the new U2.com site started before the sale of Vertigo Tour tickets. I currently cannot start threads or respond to threads in the paid subscriber section of this forum. 

We are aware of the issue... it's being checked.

     In addition, I keep getting E-mails that my subscription is about to run out in two days ALTHOUGH I'm alreadyy paid up and have received From the Ground Up book with the CD. My account info on the site correctly list my experation date as a YEAR from now yet I just received and e-mail telling me that my subscription will expire in two days. What is going on? Will someone please fix these problems!

Click on my settings...

on your settings page, you will find the Time Zone list... choose the one you need...

We have been informed that some renewal reminder emails went out even after people renewed. There was an out of date data sync that allowed this to happen. It has been fixed.

If you have already renewed please ignore the email.

Ok... some things to do:

• please be absolutely sure that you have an up to date subscription. If needed, please check in your account info page
   
• log out, clear cookies and cache, and login from u2.com (NOT from zootopia.u2.com)... once logged, please go to the appropriate section and post something...

if you did all of this and still are unable to open new threads and post, please let us know...

We do not have a flashing envelop but we have a very nice red number on the little envelope when we got PM

If you go to your Settings page, you can set an option for an inline pop-up when you have new personal messages...

To add videos from YouTube into your post:

- In your browser, open YouTube in a new tab and find the video you want to add.



- Locate the share option and copy the URL (like http :// youtu.be / TUD4CQT33w4) note: spaces were added for this example

- Paste the link in the message

- if you want to add more text, you can do it now. If needed, click on PREVIEW POST to check it.

- Once finished, just click post.
