the Point is the venue where in 1989 u2 played one of their most famous concert on new year's eve. The place was renowed in 2008 with O2 - a telephone company - sponsorship (money) and named O2 Arena since then. I think there are a few O2 arena in the world

THANKS Monica! When I saw 'North Side' I Did immediately think it might be in Ireland, but I looked up 'O2 Arena' on the internet & it came back w/search-results in London. Because of that, I thought O2 must be the proper name of 1 particular arena (in London). Is O2 just a generic term meaning 'open-air arena' or something like that? (I also looked up 'The Point' & it came back as an area in London w/apartments!)
