  1. Got 1 ticket for Thursday at the O2 - has anyone tried using presale code again for a second night in London?
  2. Me too, I really want firm confirmation of whether or not I should risk trying to split my code for London! Tried submitting a question to AXS last night but they haven't replied...
  3. Ticketmaster is handling the Glasgow presale, but it probably won't show up by searching their website - you will need to use the link provided on U2.com in the morning.
  4. No idea, is that what they normally use? It just said the venue will be running the presale. EDIT: OK yeah, I assume it will be via AXS which is the O2's official ticketing partner. I can't see anything on the O2 or AXS websites about paperless tickets, so does that mean the London shows won't use these?
  5. More info on paperless tickets from Ticketmaster: http://ticketmasteruk.inbenta.com/?f=883
  6. I just found a FAQ page on Ticketmaster with info about the UK vendors for the presale: GLASGOW: Ticketmaster is the official partner for the SSE Hydro and will be running the presale for standing tickets, seated tickets, (RED) Zone and VIP packages at this venue. LONDON: For The O2 in London, the venue will be running the presale for standing, seated and (RED) Zone Packages (visit U2.com for more information) but Ticketmaster will have a number of VIP packages available for London during the presale. So if you want regular London tickets in the presale, it's being handled by the O2 website, NOT Ticketmaster. It also included the following information: There is a limit of two tickets across the tour per customer. (No word on whether you can split them between shows.) Please note that for the floor standing tickets in Glasgow, Ticketmaster will be selling Paperless Tickets which require the cardholder to attend the event.
  7. Just found out the O2 website is handling the London presale, NOT Ticketmaster.
  8. I am slightly worried about that too, ClaypoleGirl...
  9. O2 ticket prices are: £30 -- probably nosebleed seats (Level 4) £55 -- probably GA standing £90 -- probably Level 1 seats without a decent view of the screen £165 -- probably Level 1 seats with the best view Plus booking fees.
  10. You are correct that the FAQ has been reworded. I'm hoping that means they have changed the rule about ONE show in Europe, but no-one has confirmed this. I guess I'll buy a ticket for one night and then see if the code will work again for the other night...
  11. If I recall correctly from previous tours, there is only one vendor (e.g. Ticketmaster) handling the presale, but lots of vendors selling tickets in the public sale.
  12. Presale codes should be posted on the Tours page later, so it won't matter if you don't get the email. I gather the site is currently overwhelmed with traffic, which is probably why people are not receiving invoice emails etc - they might arrive later. Then again, some members have always had problems receiving emails from U2.com and the tech people have never seemed interested in fixing it. I usually receive my renewal confirmation and coupon emails (though I didn't one year), but I never get the newsletters. I didn't get the tour announcement email today, for example.
  13. In the morning there should be links to the appropriate ticket vendors on the Tours page. I expect the London shows to be via Ticketmaster UK.
  14. No, that is the price range on Ticketmaster. There are also £55 and £90 tickets in between, as shown on another site.
  15. The four price bands are listed on http://www.ents24.com/london-events/the-o2/u2/4105684
  16. London O2 tickets are £30, £55, £90, £165 - I'm guessing GA standing is £55, with £30 being the nosebleed seats like on the last tour.
  17. Earlier the presale FAQ said "you are eligible to purchase up to TWO tickets for any ONE show in Europe in a single transaction". This has now been changed to say "you are eligible to purchase up to TWO tickets across the tour. You can split this up across two shows or just use for a single show". Just to be absolutely clear - this applies to Europe as well as North America now, yes?? So the same presale code will be valid for two concerts if we only buy one ticket for each?
  18. I wish we knew the difference between the first and second night, e.g. acoustic vs electric, or early vs later material... I would be pretty gutted if I ended up at the "wrong" show for my preferences...
  19. Does anyone know if the paperless tickets are being used for ALL shows (including Europe) or only in North America? If they are paperless then I guess there is no way of trading tickets this time around. The FAQ now says we can only buy tickets for ONE European show in the presale. Are we allowed to buy tickets for a second show in the public sale, or is there a one-show limit for European fans?
  20. Two things: -- PLEASE put the presale codes on our profiles as well as emailing them. I almost never receive emails from U2.com, which I have complained about in the past but it's never been fixed. -- Please clarify the ticket limits. Could we buy 2 tickets in the presale and then buy more in the public sale (up to 14 in total)? Are we allowed tickets for multiple shows? Also, if they're playing different shows on each night, I really hope it's clear in advance which show we are buying tickets for...
