  1. I had seats at my first ever U2 show and I absolutely hated it. Never again. I don't mind sitting for other artists, but U2 concerts are a celebration and I don't want to feel left out.
  2. Athlete are definitely the worst I've seen, I thought their set at Twickers was never going to end.
  3. Does that mean the queue is indoors?

    GA at the O2

Question for anyone who has been to O2 gigs before - just wondering, where do they set up the GA line(s)?
  5. Does anyone remember that phone message from 2004... Mr MacPhisto taking the piss out of 'Into The Heart' and saying "Innocence has turned to experience..." http://www.canadanne.co.uk/macphisto/offstage.html#intotheheart I think 'Teenage Bono' vs MacPhisto would be a great theme for the new shows.
  6. I would load up every ticket site you can think of and go with whichever one (if any) lets you in!
  7. I usually find that the ticket sites won't even load during a public sale for U2, so getting *any* kind of tickets is completely impossible, let alone choosing what you want. It must work for some people, though!
  8. It says in the FAQ "Your government issued photo ID MUST match the name on the credit card", and on the presale entry page it said "The ticket purchaser must be present at the time of entry, and must attend the event". This seems to be a strict rule so I really doubt they would let you in with your wife's card - I definitely read that you wouldn't be allowed access with a parent's card, even though the surname would be the same. Good luck though!
  9. Check the ticket vendor's FAQ, all the answers are there!
  10. The name on the card must match your photo ID, so if your name isn't on the card, you will have a problem.
  11. ip2004 - in the FAQ on AXS.com it says "For disabled access tickets you'll need to contact the venue directly who will be able to help you with your specific access requirements". Not sure how the presale code fits into that, but it seems you will have to give them a call or submit a request on the website.
  12. Splitting them worked for the London shows via AXS, and I believe Stockholm is through AXS as well? So it should be OK...
  13. Mine will expire too. AXS FAQ says it's not a problem as long as you still have the expired card or your new card has the same number - otherwise, check in with the venue box office when you arrive. (It may be worth contacting them before then, just to be safe.)
  14. Some of us do not receive emails from U2.com, have you checked your TOURS page and/or your U2.com profile for the code?
  15. Check the ticket vendor's FAQ about paperless tickets, they all explain what to do if your card expires or is lost before the event.
  16. Don't know exactly, but my guess (based on the prices) is that A are the closest seats with best view of the screen, and C are the seats with worst view (probably the ones at either end of the screen).
  17. Glasgow is through Ticketmaster, London is through AXS.
  18. Not sure if it would affect anything, but have you checked that popups aren't being blocked on AXS? That caused me problems with Ticketmaster on a previous tour.
  19. hannele - yes, book one night and then go back and book the second night. wokar78 - I haven't received the confirmation emails yet either.
  20. I have now got a ticket for Thursday and Friday at the O2! I notice the first time I could select 1 or 2 tickets and the second time I could only select 1, which does seem to imply the split is allowed.
  21. Email hasn't come through from AXS yet, but I did print my receipt! The booking process was nice and smooth! Just don't know whether it's safe to try for a second show...
