Am I right that last time if we renewed we got a new presale code? I am sure I did that for the 2010 dates? Could be wrong though. And of course that was before Live Nation and the rules could have changed now.

yup! 2 presale codes for 360 tour when I renewed sub. And wasn't it 4 tix each too?

that was then... Remember that these shows are in smaller venues than the 360° ones, so it needs different rules to be as fair as possible...

basically, everything changes... what applied then won't necessary apply now...

  2. How long you need to be a membership to get "experience" group?

If I am a member for 8 years, dont renew for 1 years, and back to renew in the next year, will I be "experience" group?

    from the FAQ:

Q - Do I have to be a U2.com Subscriber to participate in the U2.com Tour Ticket presale?

A - Yes, this pre-sale is only for Subscribers of U2.com who have purchased a Subscription. Subscribe here. If you have an existing account, but it has expired, Upgrade here. Or, if you are a paid up subscriber but wish to renew your subscription now, renew here.

Q - When is the latest I can join U2.com to be involved in the Internet ticket pre-sale?

A - Anyone who is a current Subscriber to U2.com can participate when ticket pre-sales take place but those who have been Subscribers longest get the earliest opportunity to enter the pre-sale. 'Experience Subscribers' have access starting on the morning of Day 1 of the pre-sale, 'Innocence Subscribers' have access from the morning of Day 2 of the pre-sale. The pre-sale for each concert closes at Noon / Midday on Day 3. The public ticket sale will start after Day 3 of the pre-sale. The exact times for access are made available on the tour page of U2.com.

    Q - How do I know what pre-sale priority group I am?

A - There are two groups of subscribers taking part in the pre-sale and the email you receive with your pre-sale code indicates which group you are in.

Our 'EXPERIENCE' group of longtime subscribers (those who were current, paid-up subscribers on 09/09/2014 12:00:00 PST) have access from the first day of the pre-sale. Your unique pre-sale access code will have a prefix of U215A...

Our 'INNOCENCE' group, who joined as new subscribers or upgraded an expired account after the release of the latest album in September 9, 2014 12:00:00 PST, enter early on the second day. Your unique pre-sale access code will have a prefix of U215B...

Only after this does a public onsale begin. (You may also find which priority group you are in displayed on the Account Info page when logged in.) Please Note: We do not change your subscription category. No exceptions will be made.

  3. Why? People have always done this and it was also at own risk anyway?

By facilitating it you just ensure people are less likely to get ripped off. I'd rather swap ticket for ticket with no money exchanged, or at sell face value to another fan than having to resort to ebay/craigslist type third parties.

Again trying too hard to crack down on "normal"  fans trying to have a good time, rather than actually addressing the real problem... the screwing of fans by selling tickets 3x the regular price by "legitimate" resellers.

The only thing this achieves is that people resort to sites like ebay and stubhub.

yes, that's true... but this is the first time that paperless tickets are being entered into the scene... there's still no clear way on a clear way to do these swaps and face value sales...

    hence, the risk involved...

    Hello-

I subscribed to U2.com before the first Boston presale. It didn't go through, so I tried it again. same thing. I tried yet a third time and it finally went through. Now I have a charge on my credit card for 2 gift subscriptions and 1 regular. I had also ordered a vertigo pin with the first attempt at memembership. I have received the pin, but I need a credit for the 2 gift subscriptions, as I don't want them and don't want to be charged 2x extra. What do I do?

Please contact immediately TM and explain the situation - have all and any documents and emails at hand...Even though it's a U2.com subscription? I didn't get tickets to any of those presale shows. By "It" I meant the subscription. I just wanted to be clear..Hi Max, formerly Bogirl here!

    please keep us updated...

Oh, now i get it... sorry...

please use the CONTACT US form in the http://www.u2.com/help and explain the issue (again, have all the documents at hand)

  5.

I will do... But I can have my tickets for Amsterdam canceled? Do I get my money back? LOL

Is there anyway possible to know which passcode I used for one specific concert? I want to know if the passcode that I used today by mistake, is the same that I used for the Amsterdam 8th of September concert...

    Thank you.

I don't see any reason why the tickets couldn't get cancelled... but I don't think it would be a quick process. Perhaps consider to wait a few days after the general sale, so they are not swamped...

About the codes... not from here... *maybe* the ticketing agency can (emphasis on *maybe*)

    Thanks for the help.

But, I can't get any help at all for this? who do I have to contact to have this issue solved?

    Thank you

    the ticketing agency...

  6. Hi Folks,

My presale code is not working.  I signed up a few days, but the innocence purchase group for MTL Jun 16th should have opened up 25 minutes ago.  User name rburns.

    Thanks,

    Robert

PS:  It is a fresh code, I didn't participate in any previous pre-sales.

Please logoff from u2.com, delete cookies and cache from the browser, close it and reopen. Login and try again...

if this doesn't work, please try with the TM mobile app...

if nothing works, please send us a PM...
