  1. Correct, I, like many others, am very frustrated about the situation I should point out that I am going to see U2 in MSG this July, I saved my code for Dublin.
  2. we can all understand that, but that does not mean it is an acceptable situation, I've said it before and shall say it again, people who saved their codes have been given a big 2 fingered salute by the powers that be, i mean even the admin on the forums do not know what is happening so it looks like they got the same salute, Thanks Live Nation or whatever GUY is responsible, this ones for you two..................
  3. I'm sure the band didn't perhaps know Didn't know what? the size of the point depot/o2 arena/3 arena/ whatever its going to be called next arena? Of course they knew, Dublin is getting the raw end of the stick.
  4. Am going to MSG and Dublin (if it's ever announced) would love to hear: Love is blindness sung by Edge. Miss Sarajevo (everytime I hear Bono's performance from Milan it makes the hair on my arms stand up) One (can't listen without a tear in me eye) The Ballad of Ronnie Drew North and South of the River Holy Joe Party Girl (Trash, Trampoline and the Party Girl) The ground beneath her feet Glastonbury (sounds like something from Songs of Innocence)
  5. I love U2, I love Bono, but like most Irishmen (and probably most people) he occasionally talks a load of sh ite, Yeah, like 'most people' - you included! And yourself as well, we all do it.
  6. I love U2, I love Bono, but like most Irishmen (and probably most people) he occasionally talks a load of sh ite, I can assure you no matter what he says it would never influence my opinion on anything, whilst I understand where you are coming from (facts are facts) just because it is in the press doesn't mean its true, you should give people a bit more credit in their ability to read into a situation. we can argue all day about stats, yes more whites are killed by law enforcement officers than blacks, the other side of that fact is almost 80% of the population is white, almost 13% black, that's roughly a ratio of 6/1, so one would expect the figure for whites to be higher. As for Bono unless he is singing it's in one ear and out the other for me, as for Michael Brown what goes around comes around. I think he got what he deserved he chose his own path. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXZtM3MOzO0 Not a nice video.
  7. It does help but it does not cut out scalpers, they just buy 4 tix sell 3 at over inflated prices (assuming the demand is there) and use the mule (the person who bought the original tix) to enter with the other 3 strangers, they (the mule) doesn't have to stay for the show if they don't want, this happens wherever there is demand, I've seen it, I know people who do it and practically make a living out of it (in UK). they have networks of people they use on a regular basis. to a scalper probably like i explained above. in theory it's a great plan (cc & id) but in reality it can be a nightmare.
  8. More like what other people on the forum think they might do / play.
  9. http://www.rte.ie/ten/news/2015/0514/701164-u2-tour-too-big-for-dublin/ According to that they are deffo playing the 3arena (the name could change by then), but not the same show as therest of the tour, is that a good thing or a bad thing?, Could be interesting if attending other venues as well ( fans I mean)

    BONOPOLY

    From the album: picpics

A game I have invented, based on a popular property board game with a similar name. Bonopoly, where the streets have no name.
  11. You can't compare Oklahoma and Dublin in a U2 conversation. Are you for real ? yeah ya big eejit
  12. Hardly a 'waste of an hour'. Jeez. I thought it was a great interview. We'll find out about the Dublin gigs in time, relax. We now know that Dublin won't be the same as the rest of the tour. If anything it makes my decision to go to MSG and London all the sweeter! Dublin will be announced in time. sounds like everyone is caught up in the Tony died so that makes the interview all the better, it was a waste of an hour for me.I shouldn't have to relax about the Dublin gigs, U2.com are taking the piss with the removal of codes and the no replying to peoples questions, I don't remember having to wait to hand over my subscription, ever, any year. I too am going to msg but I saved my code for a Dublin gig and the frustration is unnecessary and it is fueled by the silence from official channels on here, At the end of the day U2.com as a business they don't give a shite about any of us after they get the subs.
  13. waste of an hour, learned nothing new about Dublin gigs , get your finger out U2.com
