if someone finds a spot where they can film for awhile without blocking someone else's view, fine. but in GA, I think that is almost impossible. even in seats I wouldn't be filming, but that's just me...wait my phone can't take footage pffft!

I remember he said something about "putting a sh*tty video on youtube". he wanted the crowd to live the concert. ^ notice the guy filming this took James advice and put his phone down \m/^_^\m/

Every time I watched the video of U2 in the NYC Subway, the girl who Bono tries to sing to, while she keeps looking instead at her phone to try and get a selfie, is so infuriating. Like, why are you so fixated on preserving a moment you're not having? ^ this!! I was thinking the same thing. I said to my mum 'effing Bono is in her face singing too her and instead of looking at him she's looking at the stupid phone!' it's one of the dumbest things I've seen on the internet recently! my phone is a 2008 Nokia, no chance of me holding it in the air. as much as I like seeing some footage from the tour, I don't want to be stuck behind someone who has their iphone up in the air half the night I'd be smacking the thing out of their hand.

I have to disagree about 'The fLy' and the Bman playing rhythm guitar. if you watch ZOO TV Sydney closely, Bono hardly plays his guitar and when he does play a chord it's low in the mix. 'The fLy' can be played without the Bman putting on a guitar, I've always seen it as an accessory on him. don't everyone hate me at once, but Bono is a lousy guitar player *runs away*

there were a few of us that have posted in condolences threads about Larry's father. someone posted that the band flew home and attended the funeral but I'm not 100% about that because I didn't find out myself. I also think some fans are unaware that Larry has lost his dad.

Adam is nice. I met him in 1998 and there weren't many people so it was relaxed. then briefly in 2010 outside the stadium here in Perth. I had a painting for him and I looked down and before I knew it he was signing it!! and I went "argh!" and he jumped back a bit, like 'WTF?' he didn't know what I was holding was a painting for him that took me 3 weeks to finish. I briefly got to say to him (I think this is what I said) "Adam, this is for you. you are first because God created you first" and he smiled and took it from me.he didn't get a good look at the painting because it was curling up (I'd had it in a tube) but I'm still fond of it. I even had a thread in the old Zoo where you could follow how it was coming along. ^ it's acrylic on A2 art paper. I don't know where it is now, hoping maybe somewhere U2 work or amoungst Adam's stuff... who knows I had a painting for Bono too but he didn't stop so I handed the tube too security and asked if they could please pass the painting onto him. maybe I should of held onto it but it only took me 10 days to complete, I was happy how I'd captured him. I haven't painted for 5 years. maybe I should get the acrylics out and see if I can come up with something
