I can't make the show, and a friend of mine is interested in my two GA...however, Ticketmaster/U2 won't let me transfer these. The only way to get in is by using a cc, and I don't have a problem with sending him my card -- my concern is that they will not just want to scan the cc, but will also ask for ID. Do you think they'll ask for ID upon entrance?

I am in the process of moving from Austin to DC...so when I bought tickets for this tour, I got DC and Dublin, never thinking I'd still be in Austin at the end of May. Obviously I find myself upset that I did not get tickets to either/both Houston and Dallas, but would love to go see them Friday night in case something happens and I can't make the DC show in late June. Does anyone have 1 GA ticket available? I see some around on broker websites but would prefer to "do bidness" with a true U2 fan on here. ...or if no one has a Dallas GA, perhaps one of you would like to make an offer on my gorgeous 5BR/4BA house so I'll be sure to catch them in DC next month? LOL

A U2 show is my happy place. It is my only obsession/addiction, and it's a pretty decent one to have.

GA for Dublin and DC!!

I bought a VIP package for I+E in Phoenix. Our seats were low and decent. They had a separate line for us to enter through - and the merchandise table was open just for us, for a set amount of time. Outside of our buffet area there was a photo op background. We were provided with a ticket that was good for one alcoholic drink. I can't remember what all they had for dinner but I do remember baked salmon with some sides. Tables were set up, with tablecloths. We were entered into a raffle for a backstage tour. We were given a very nice book with info on U2 and all their tours, souvenir tickets from those shows, guitar picks, cool photos and stuff. Once we left the VIP area to go to our seats we were, as some other poster mentioned, "just one of the crowd," although we had our bellies full of salmon and a free drink. Since I was in from out of town I can't speak to parking perks, and there may be someone who did VIP in Phoenix that will remember the experience in more detail. It was nice, I am glad I took my daughter and did it...but I didn't have one of the upper tier VIP packages that I saw offered with this upcoming tour because I don't remember having to take out a second mortgage! It was maybe a little bit less hassle but unless and until I pay a boatload of money and get to meet the band, I'm going to slum it in General Admission from now on.

LOL - service fee, and they are paperless tickets... Yes, let's talk about those "service" fees for paperless tickets (after we all solve the problem of Ticketmaster glitches and scalpers, of course). Here in Austin, Texas, the local theater CHARGES YOU $2.00 per ticket if you want to PRINT OUT YOUR OWN TICKET ON YOUR OWN PRINTER. But, there is no fee if you choose to scan your barcode at entry on your mobile device. Go figure.

Washington, DC tacked on $21 and change, per ticket. I thought that was crazy, until I saw what the Rose Bowl fees were!

I second what Canadanne says...something is not right and you need to speak with someone else. I used my code to buy (2) tickets to Dublin and five hours later I bought (2) tickets to Washington, DC. Your experience is why everybody hates Ticketmaster.

That's funny. I'm jealous! Just booked Maldron Parnell Square -- did the "Advance Pay" option for €271 a night, July 21 and 22. I'll need to forego eating, paying bills, etc., but at least I found a place to stay.

I'm claustrophobic, so I debated for years whether to get a GA ticket or not. While I would love to maneuver close enough to the stage to be "right there" at the band's feet, honestly, I just want to be on my feet the whole time, dancing, and I want to be able to view the stage, graphics, experience, etc. In my opinion, standing is better and here is my experience: I got GA for a 360 show and loved it. I just hung around toward the back, no one was crowding me, I could see everything, it was great. There are moments when people would move closer, and I would, too, but I was able to maintain reasonable space around me where I could still see the band and not be crammed between people, unable to move. Because I stayed toward the back, I never felt closed in. For the i+e tour, I got a VIP package for my daughter and myself in low level seating. I was on my feet the entire time but not everybody around me was, and someone in a row behind me spilled a beer, which was dumped all over my shoes, pants and the VIP souvenir book we had been given. (Thankfully the book was sealed well in a box, and that was in a plastic bag.) For my second i+e concert, I had GA in Chicago and it was the most fun I've ever had...which is saying a lot, because being at a U2 show is always the most fun I've ever had. We kind of moved in and out with the crowd and I was never boxed in. I was close enough to see everything and close enough that when Bono did his "drink the water and spout it out" thing, we got splattered. So for this tour I didn't hesitate to get floor tickets to Dublin and DC. It's just a big, huge dance party. Oh...and I'm 48 years old See y'all there!

I apologize if this has been asked/answered clearly before, but...is Pitch 1 a standing area on the field? It certainly would seem so, but my Pitch 1 tickets came with a Row and Seat number. Thanks in advance...

When I purchased tickets for Dublin it had me go through that. It linked with my bank easily and went through. The only password I had to enter was for my Ticketmaster Ireland account. Best of luck!

Agreed! Other than a couple of little generally "wonky" things about TM, I got 2 for Dublin and 2 for DC just as 9am hit in both cities. I've been up all night, but my goodness is it worth it! Last tour's buying experience was nothing like this time! So glad the stress is over

Just purchased Pitch 1 (was worried about crowding in Pitch 2) ... This is a bucket list item. I have waited so very long to see them perform in Dublin. Honestly, I'm crying a little bit. I can't wait
