  1. Agreed! I hadn't heard it live before tonight and must say it really rocks live. Now I'm bummed they didn't but it out in SJ #1
  2. This is amazing. So jealous of all you lucky folks at the Roxy!
  3. So for San Jose night 1 we arrived around 7pm and still had an amazing view. The way the stages are set up, it's really hard to have a bad place to stand. FWIW, we stood near the entrance to the Red Zone and could see the main stage pretty well, the walkway and screens great and the smaller stage pretty good as well. Hope that helps!
  4. Such a great show, and honestly there isn't a bad place to stand in the GA. There were numerous times when we looked up and Bono or the Edge were 5 feet away from us. I did like standing back a bit from the stage to take in the massive screens.
  5. Thanks for this...due to work and traffic, I probably won't get to San Jose until close to 7/7:30pm on Monday. Nice to know we'll be able to see just fine even though we will be late arriving!

    GA Line Up

I'm coming from SF, won't be off work until 5pm or so, no lining up for me. But I'm hoping that with this stage set up to still have a great view even if it means further back in GA.
  7. In the presale I got 2 GA tix for night 1 in San Jose. Very easy process, I'm quite happy with how the whole presale worked out!
  8. Did you ever sit in the upper level of MSG. Awful No, but I did sit in the very last row in the upper level in San Jose (similar size as MSG I imagine) for a concert a few years ago and it honestly wasn't that horrible.
  9. Took me 2 minutes to get GA tix to night 1 in San Jose yesterday right at 10am...as I keep preaching, use the app! So much more painless than the main site.
  10. I agree that it's frustrating to see such high prices during the presale but why not give it a shot on Monday during the regular presale when you get can upper level seats for $30 plus fees?
  11. I got tickets via the Ticketmaster app in under 2 minutes, I'm sure being on the West Coast helped as things went so smooth. I was also able to log in on my desktop to check what else was available without a problem. I suggest everyone uses the app whenever buying tickets, as well as logging in ahead of time to check to make sure all your info (credit card, mailing address, email, etc) is up to date so you're not trying to juggle that while checking out with tickets in your cart.
  12. I'm banking on this. I'm at the age where I usually opt for a seat but am hoping with the stage setup there's no need to get there hours early to get a 'good' spot. Of course if you want to be on the rail, more power to you!
  13. Actually, this is the map I pulled up from the SAP Center/SJ Arena page on Ticketmaster...looks a little different than the map posted above
  14. Interesting! I ended up with GA for SJ night 1, though dealing with a commute from SF I'm starting to think I might have been better off in seats since I probably won't have the luxury of getting there hours early to line up. Hopefully with this long walkway everyone in GA will have a good view at some point in the show.
  15. It's a selling point to entice season ticket holders - my brother has season tix to the Niners at Levi's Stadium and has since had presale opportunities for Pac 12 Title Game, Taylor Swift, Sharks game, etc. at the stadium. I don't see a problem with venues offering this benefit but I do take issue with people scalping the tickets.
  16. Forget to mention, SJ tix were $83.50 each for GA with all fees
  17. Two tickets for San Jose night 1 - done with my purchase at 10:02 am, easy peasy
  18. Got my code, time for a good night's sleep so I can deal with the presale tomorrow morning!
  19. Copied from the Ticketmaster San Jose page: Ticket Limits There is a 2 ticket limit for all password-protected presales and membership bundles. There is a 4 ticket limit during the first day of the onsale and no limit thereafter. Please adhere to published ticket limits. Persons who exceed the ticket limit may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice by Ticketmaster in its discretion. This includes orders associated with the same name, e-mail address, billing address, credit card number or other information.
  20. The cheapest ticket in San Jose is $30 plus fees so that would shock me if there wasn't a cheaper option available.
  21. Everyone's membership start date is wrong, mine shows 2009, I have been a member since 1992. If you have been a member before September of 2014 you would be in the Experience group, after September 9th you would be in the Innocence group. My account info just mentions my account runs out in feb'15. Not since when insigned up. Hover over your name, it says you've been a member since 24 Feb 09
