  1. forgot bucket list show someday.. Dublin
  2. 47 geez i can't remember dates but here goes (and got U2 tattoo's at the '05, '09 shows!) Minneapolis '97 PopMart Minneapolis '05 Vertigo Vegas '09 360 Winnepeg '11 360 Chicago '15 IE Chicago '17 Joshua Tree !!!!!
  3. I'm section 231, row 9. i couldn't find this online. I suspect it's blocked by the overhang
  4. I would love to be able to get some feedback from the band management and promoters regarding the varying ticket delivery methods for this tour. According to TM, the promoters put rules on how tickets would be delivered and that varies depending on the section. We see tickets on resale sites that claim 'instant delivery' or sold with a gift credit card (not sure who owns these or how they get around the cc delivery). I paid for my tickets, they are mine and i should be able to have possession of them. And, setting different standards based on seating section makes no sense to me. It would make more sense to control the access to purchase (to prevent bots, resellers purchasing, etc) than to restrict the delivery method for the individual buyer. And don't even get me started on the monopolistic ticket/promoter system that U2 has chosen...
  5. Sadly, only Chicago this time. Altho, anyone who has an insane amount of airline miles and would kindly donate...I'd go to Dublin
  6. Again, response from TM Ticketmaster does not own or operate any venues. We are simply ticket sellers. Almost every ticket we sell is actually owned by our clients, not by us. We're generally selling tickets on behalf of our clients including artists, teams, venues, and promoters, though in some rare instances we may own a small number of tickets as part of our services contract with the individual client. When Credit Card Entry is the only option, it’s probably because the tickets are in high demand, and the artist, team, or venue wants true fans like you to get the seats you want at face value by eliminating unfair competition from professional scalpers. Without the ability to resell tickets at steep prices, scalpers have no reason to snatch them up when they go on sale using automated software, or “bots”. I hope this has resolved all of your questions, enjoy the event! If you need anything else, just reply to this email or click Help on Ticketmaster.com! Sincerely, Oscar Ticketmaster Fan Support The only way they'll change cc # is if your bank issues a new card number. Then you have to contact TM with a bank statement that proves you purchased and owned the old number.
  7. here's the 15th response from TM customer_support@ticketmaster.com 10:15 AM (19 minutes ago) to me Hello Heather My Name is Pablo, and It will be a pleasure assisting you today! Hope your day is going well. I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused, I will do my best to assist you and look into the matter. The promoters have decided to keep the delivery method restricted to only credit card entry, to who they are exactly, we will not be able to disclose that information. I do apologize. If you have any other questions please let us know.
  8. I've exchanged 10 emails w/TM on the cc entry topic. No luck in changing their policy. They did reply that tickets in different locations were not cc entry only and that fan club tix were as well as some sections. Doesn't make sense to me.
  9. I've been emailing with Ticketmaster customer support and have repeatedly been denied the ability to change the name on my tickets and they will not give me ecopy. However, on StubHub and Ticketsnow, there are hundreds of tickets for sale that show 'instant delivery' as the delivery method. How does this happen?
  10. yea. I bought two sets, seated and GA. I am selling the GA to a friend and i don't want to wait in the GA line with them.
  11. Not every location is CC entry. There are Chicago tickets for sale with instant-download. Not sure how that happens.
  12. What i want to know is how are instant-download and etickets already on stubhub? both my purchases were cc entry only.
  13. i got them on my phone...this event must be credit card only?
  14. wow, finally got them. thanks! i wouldn't have kept trying
  15. gah! how?? i'm on my phone and laptop and no luck
  16. i keep getting routed to the resale site
  17. There's a few AirBnB around the venue but very spendy. Maybe folks in this group could work on sharing full house rentals?
  18. Same thing happened to me. I didn't want reserved seats and paid twice what i'd planned. Ticketmaster is horrible.
  19. read the pinned topic about clearing cache. ingonito window helped
  20. I ended up buying tickets at a price i didn't want and now the presale code is used up. Will we need to just buy during general sales if we can?
  21. Yep, no GA available when i tried either. That was my first search at 9:01.
  22. Ticketmaster sucks! it took 17min to purchase tickets on a computer. and was unable to get GA.
  23. You should have a strategy for the day if you're doing GA. Get fluids early while in line, use restroom once you have your spot on the floor and do not leave once concert starts. Unless you're prepared to be toward the front of the line, IMO, GA isn't worth the hassle.
