    9 years old and oblivious to U2. It wasn't until around 1989 when Rattle and Hum songs were getting airplay that I heard of them and started liking them.

    Security pounced on anyone with cameras at the Popmart show I went to, but I think that was the venue's policy more than the bands.

    There was a screening of Rattle & Hum at an Omnimax theatre in 1994. Unfortunately I didn't get around to going.

    This is what being a fan is about! Not how many years you've been a fan. Not whether or not you were a magazine subscriber. Not how many shows you've been to. Not whether you've met the band or not. All of that stuff is just the window dressing. If U2 is your favourite band, then you are a fan. Simple. There are no diehard fans, real fans, true fans, casual fans, or so-called fans. Just fans.

    It sounds like it would be a great live version, but a recorded 2017 re-working is the dictionary definition of unnecessary.

    I am curious if anyone out there bought and still has their, Pop pins. It was a set of three and I think it cost $14. Mine are sitting and waiting for the tour. Does anyone else have them? It's just an indulgent question so pardon me. I've way too much time on my hands for a few weeks yet. sigh lol So any Pop pins??????? These ones? I think they came with my Fly glasses back around 2000/2001

    They do have a bit of a resemblance. Maybe that's why they haven't done it.

    I never understood the demand for Acrobat getting played live. They haven't played Grace either and nobody is itching for that. I could list a dozen rarely played songs that I'd rather hear.

    I agree with that. My mum got the album before I did and she's not even a fan. Subscribers should have got it for "free" first IMO.

    I was a 9 year old kid who was into Transformers and Star Wars. 30 years later I'm a 39 year old who is into Transformers and Star Wars.

    To be honest, when they performed SYCMIOYO at (I think it was) the Grammys in 2005(?) I thought they were finished. I even said I wouldn't pay to see that. Maybe Bono was just having an off day, because I haven't heard him sound like that since. His range isn't what it used to be, but he can still get up.

    I went to two (consecutive) 360 shows, first one in the stands and the second one up near the stage. It was WAY louder in the stands, the missus left with a splitting headache.
