    New Year's Day! Always a great experience to hear. A close 2nd (to me, connected w/NYD): Sunday Bloody Sunday. These are the 2 songs that introduced me to U2 in '83 & made them my all-time favorite band for life, so they'll always be my favorite 2 songs. Since I guess SBS wasn't released as a single, technically my 2nd favorite 'single' would be 'In God's Country.'

    BONO!!! (& his mates. I appreciate each. Vive la difference.) Let me add: Edge's guitar-playing from the start was a Unique, never-b4-heard phenomenon!!!
  • Fav. Other Bands
    My longtime 2nd-favorite (after U2, which will always be my favorite): Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. (B4 U2 came along, my fave was The Police.) These days, I'm loving 'For King and Country' & Toby Mac, for ex. Not only do they rightly glorify the King of kings, Yehovah/Yahweh, & my Lord & Savior, Christ Yeshua/Jesus, but their music is great, too. There's A Lot of music that I love & appreciate in many 'genres,' including gospel/Christian, folk-rock, folk, soft rock, rock, classical guitar, etc, but when it comes to bands & popular music, as far as what band's music is my all-time favorite, which band is 'my band,' & what band I'm interested in keeping up with: it's a U2-Universe for me! Always will be! Not overboard, but I do have a love or passion for U2 - for its humanitarian 'take' on sociopolitical consciousness, its willingness to use its spotlight for the common good, & of course its music!! : )

    Hi Max. Any tip for a subscriber to update her profile? : For some reason, when I go to edit 'Fav Other Bands,' even though I press the 'Save' button afterwards, it does'nt update or change what's there at all.

      on a computer / laptop log off from your account, delete cookies and cache from your browser, close the browser and wait for a few seconds. Reopen it and log in again to your account - from there go directly to your profile and try again...

    Hi Max. I re-subbed earlier this evening because my sub was going to expire at midnight. I prefer to re-sub a couple of days before the expiry date, but I did it as soon as I could. I received an email confirmation right after I re-subbed, but if it's not an inconvenience, can you please look & let me know if you see that my account is re-subbed? (It's about 11:30 pm where I am, but I seem to remember you usually being awake at this hour because of being in an earlier time zone.) If you're able to check this, it's much appreciated.

    Hello Jenwins. I have 2 questions. When you say NYC, do you mean East Rutherford, NJ (MetLife Stadium there)? Also, I didn't think those tickets were transferable at all - I thought they require the card they were purchased with to be swiped at the stadium for entry (unless a person somehow got their ticket(s) 'in hand' when they bought them). Thanx in advance for your reply.
