  1. Is it an experience code or an innocence code? If the latter, it won't work until tomorrow.
  2. If it's a new (innocence group) code, it's not supposed to work now. It'll start working tomorrow (check the tour page).
  3. But every two shows are separated by 2 days off, even in cities with 4 shows. Right--so new 02 dates on Nov. 2/3 would work fine w/that.
  4. All the added shows make sense given the sales. But--other places sold out as well, but aren't getting new shows (or at least they haven't been announced yet). For example, the 4 London/02 shows sold out maybe even a bit faster than the 4 NYC, but no new shows for them yet (e.g., . Likewise, Toronto sold out--but no new ones; these could be July 2/3. Likewise, despite selling out, no new Italy shows, no Antwerp, no Koln, no Glasgow--all of which have "room" in the schedule either before or after the originally scheduled shows. I wonder what to make of this?
  5. New York's done for sure. And remember, none were added for LA (even though they had room to add 4).
  6. Um... that's a bit wrong. I got two tickets in presale (for the 1st of two shows), but it wouldn't allow me to buy 4 more to 2nd night from the same account. This was for Berlin, BTW. Wow. Well, I can say that this doesn't happen in the US. I've bought tickets to dozens of U2 shows over the last three tours, and always the presale vs. general onsale limits were completely distinct. From what you say, though, this may be different in Europe. Or, come to think of it, in Europe there are various different businesses that handle these issues, and some may differ from others. Here, it's just TM.
  7. [Note--I deleted original post]. Yeah, you're right. It probably relates to limited visibility at both ends for the big screens that will apparently run along each side of the catwalk.
  8. Exactly! And the best (seated) tix at the United Center have always been 113 and 121 (not 120). That alone speaks volumes.
  9. Huh? That's not what TM says on their website--they say 4 tix limit (1st day of general onsale)--?
  10. That makes sense--119 on the map is not directly behind the stage--more like half of the way to being completely behind the stage.
  11. I arranged tickets for someone who is disabled earlier today and he told me that section 108, which was highest ticket price, was closest to the stage. He told me that section 119, which was $95, was on the opposite end of the main stage. I'm not claiming to know with any certainty but this is what the box office is saying so we've conflicting information. Hmm--well, that's confusing, to be sure! And you're right, none of us really know at this point. But, if I'm right, it makes some sense that section 119 is cheap, because that would be (almost) behind the main stage. And section 108 wasn't the only section w/top price tix--tons of the lower bowl (and even some of the upper bowl) was top price--except for a lesser price for what looks to be tix behind the main stage. But again, we don't really know for sure, obviously.
  12. About $325/ea; sometimes a bit more, sometimes a bit less. And of course you're right, in the 360 tour, the RZs were considerably larger (at least several hundred; I forget exactly how many) than on this (arena) tour (only 50 per side, supposedly)!
  13. Nope--it's not behind the main stage. And notice that VIP packages were not available in corresponding locations on the other side. More evidence the RZs are on the other side from the main stage.
  14. The red zone was right next to the stage for the 360 tour in Chicago. I know because I was off to the side slightly in front of the stage. Not exactly. Only regular GA was right next to the stage (the 360 version of the heart). The RZs on the 360 tour were next to each of the outer side of the semicircular catwalk that circumscribed the heart. In other words, not "in the heart," but rather just outside of it. And also, when you refer to "the map" above (the Chicago map), by itself it gives no indication of whether the RZs are by the main stage or the b-stage (indeed, the Chicago map, like many US venue maps, seems to suggest a single, long, thin stage running the entire length of GA).
  15. The general view (confirmed by Bigwave) is that if you have two different names AND (critically) two different CCs, then having the same address shouldn't affect you. My wife and I already did this for the 1st two Chicago shows--no problems. My wife and I have also done this w/no issues in many previous tours. Bigwave also said they told TM to lay off (in situations like I just described), and to tell him if problems occur anyway. All that said, my and others' (successful) experience with this involves using the presales for different shows (i.e., not trying to use both pairs of presale codes for the same show). Even there, however, you should be OK as long as the TM Credit Cards you're using are different. As far as I know, almost all the problems folks have had is when they use the same CC. Oh, and it would help if there are only 2 members at the same address, I suppose.
  16. What he said. Tons of evidence for this (see above).
  17. No, they don't include the presale. The presale and general onsale limits are distinct. And through general sales, the limits are per show, so you could conceivably buy 4 tix at multiple different shows through general onsales (on top of your 2 presale tix, which IS a totally one-shot thing, except for buying 1 at one show and 1 for another).
  18. Since they're hard (reserved) tix, you could also list them on Ebay--shouldn't be a problem at face value + fees. And there will also be threads here for fans to sell tickets at face to each other, etc.
  19. No; you should be OK. My wife and I did just what you're talking about without incident. And Bigwave (one of the moderators) says that if you do have any problems, PM him immediately w/details, etc. and it should get worked out.
  20. Unfortunately, I wouldn't hold your breath. They're adding shows in pairs--and just added the 26th/27th. It's very unlikely they'll add any more in NYC. If they did, it'd be July 30/Aug. 1, which would work for you. But they won't--the 4 original NYC shows didn't sell out fast enough (they still aren't totally sold out, except the first). Plus, they wouldn't add just one show--it'd be two, adding to its unlikeliness. I'd seriously consider modifying my travel plans if I were you!
  21. Wow. Well, who knows--maybe more venues are that way. BUT--and Lord knows, we don't need this problem--say you want to meet up w/friends or whatever to do GA and you're on different assigned "sides". That would totally suck. Also, as far as I know, no US GAs have had any "side" designations thus far.
  22. Absolutely! Aargh...this happens every tour, more or less, I'm afraid. One thing re the household--make sure (e.g., if your sig. other joins or whatever) that the other person in the household uses a DIFFERENT CC than you did (both to get a u2.com membership and to set up a TM account), and remember that if the additional household person buys any paperless (i.e., GA or RZ) tix, they MUST go to the show themselves.
  23. Interesting. Haven't seen anthing like this w/other venues, where even though the floor is (largely but not entirely) divided, it seems at least possible to change sides, etc., and other venues' GA tix don't have designations anything like yours (just the good old "GA1", etc., which doesn't mean anything). So maybe Vancouver is doing something different than everywhere else!
