  1. How do you know? They aren't anywhere else (except NY).
  2. If it sells well, they will add a second show--there's room for it in the schedule. Regarding what's left right now, seems to me it's really hard to tell, since they don't have maps like TM does that can show you that.
  3. Most likely the GA seats are non-transferable (unless Colorado has a law prohibiting CCE, like New York State does).
  4. Really...I didn't know these additional things about that user...thanks for mentioning them. Wow. Well, as you say, we'll finally know fairly soon.
  5. I wouldn't say that. There is a lot of speculation about the stage layout, on here, @U2 forums, & interference. Like you, some are predicting an end-of-stage/catwalk/b-stage layout (as shown on the San Jose map). While others are predicting it will a central stage in-the-round (as shown on TM, & possibly accidentally shown in a leaked presentation on u2.com). So the truth is, nobody knows what the stage layout will be (or where RZ will be located). So GA tickets will give people the most flexibility, once the stage layout is known. While RZ will offer the most convenience for people on the floor (& will no doubt be in a good location, though maybe not the best). Unfortunately, for those looking for seats, they just have to cross their fingers & hope they will be in a good location. Not a great feeling when you're opening you wallet, & spending a lot of money. What ddarroch said. For quite a while I was convinced by various pieces of evidence (different pricings of lower bowl locations, where "limited views" are, and the very detailed San Jose map from the venue) of the end stage/b-stage w/RZs there setup. But, as ddarroch said, there was apparently a brief leak here on u2.com of what looks more like a true center stage. So nobody really knows, which is quite aggravating to many--e.g., those who'd like to know where the RZ areas really are and perhaps especially those who'd like to know where the doggone seats are.
  6. Because it's common to call dates "sold out" when the available tickets drop to a sufficiently low level.
  7. Wow--as we all now know, a new show added in Denver. A few thoughts--first, if it sells well, likely a 2nd show in Denver. If not, there'd still be space in the schedule for another show somewhere else June 9--although that would have to be a single as well. I bet we'll see a second Denver show. Looking at the schedule, there's also space for a pair of shows after Montreal somewhere else as well (??). But, they've already announced the NYC shows will be the last in North America this leg, so nothing's going to happen in August. And I certainly sympathize w/Denver area folks who've already bought tix for other cities (w/all the attendant expense, hassle, etc.), but it's not like U2 knew all along that there'd be any Denver dates at all--clearly, the original plan was for more LA dates instead. And it's also clear from numerous comments from the band, etc. that there will definitely be an emphasis on the "pairs of shows" (w/differences, etc.) concept--with the only exceptions being a very few "single" dates (the 5th Chicago show, the 5th LA show, 5th London show, maybe Denver--although I bet they end up w/2). Come to think of it, with all 5 London shows now shown as sold out, one would think there will be a 6th London show added (I'm surprised it hasn't already been, actually).
  8. Good point by Jeff. Given that it's a virtual certainly there will be a 2016 stadium leg (Edge said so), definitely join BEFORE that's officially announced. Regarding your other questions, who knows for sure, but a Florida show seems likely, if the 360 tour itinerary was any indication. And probably no, the tix won't be less expensive--BUT--since stadiums are so much larger (with more tix), it won't be as difficult to get some of the cheaper tix, if that's how you want to do it.
  9. Definitely. Your email suggests at a minimum that RZ are now not being treated as CCE, but as will-call (as in the No Line tour)--which is at least a bit better. Also, the "alternate pick up name" sentence may suggest even more wiggle room, although it says one has to do this within 10 days of purchase (which all RZ folks are way beyond at this point).
  10. There will definitely be a stadium leg in 2016--the band has said so. I'm sure this will visit many areas of the US not covered by the 2015 arena tour, which was clearly slanted toward "residencies" in various places (e.g., NYC) and to the "pair of shows" concept (which won't apply to a stadium tour).
  11. Wow. Thanks for the info--and somebody else in the RZ section confirmed this as well. Unless this is a truly colossal TM screw-up (misinformation), it appears that RZ really are will-call and NOT CCE, despite all the earlier info to the contrary. Well, it's still a pain, but definitely better for folks than CCE, for sure. I wonder if GA is somehow going to morph into will-call as well (?)
  12. There's two separate entrances. When I've been to seated gigs at The O2, I've always entered at entrances A and B, which are nearest to the dome entrance. However, I went to a standing gig in November and I had to take a bit of a walk round to entrance f. I might have said this before but the queues at The O2 don't really start until about an hour/half an hour before the doors open. Really?? Normally at U2 gigs the GA queues start way before that--like in the early morning of the day of show or even the night before--??
  13. Wow. Thanks for the info. This seems to be a major development (and change from the original info)--and helpful to you and others.
  14. Noticed that on the tour page it now says something vague about more dates to be confirmed (although obviously not announced yet). So maybe we will see NYC 8, London 6, ??
  15. Seems unlikely on this leg--so far, only more dates in the original cities have been added. But, I bet things are different on the 2016 stadium leg.
  16. Noticed a post in the RZ section from someone needing to sell their RZ tix (for two LA shows). In keeping with all the prior info about RZ and GA being credit card entry (CCE), I posted that they weren't will-call, but rather CCE. They responded that the RZ TM info says that the ARE will-call (the day of the show; except NYC). I checked it out and the RZ TM info indeed appears to say this. So what's going on?? All the earlier info we've gotten (I think) is that RZ, like GA, is CCE--which is definitely not will-call. So, if they are will-call, that's a big change. Still a pain for RZ ticket holders who need to sell them (because they still have to show up to the venue on the day of the show), but way more workable than CCE. So mods, what's up? And you RZ ticket holders (besides NYC)--what do your TM order statements say? Presumably, those indicate whether RZ tix are will-call or CCE. And if TM is doing this w/RZ (making them will-call), might they do that w/GA? While not a perfect solution, it would help a number of folks.
  17. Not going to happen on this leg. But, likely a good chance for 2016's stadium leg!
  18. You're right--forgot about that quote. Although it still doesn't really say anything specific, which is what some folks (not me) are complaining about regarding the "dual-show" thing.
  19. I wouldn't count on that at all. More importantly, there's lots of other info that clearly states that RZ tix are CCE, just like GA--which means they're NOT will-call. At the very least, it's unclear--and I would strongly suggest checking further (e.g., posting about this issue in the main threads, and ask the moderators to clarify it). Further, TM very often has incorrect information--for example, holding over old info without updating it properly. For the 2009 tour, for example, RZ tix WERE will-call. I'd bet that they're not now, given all the CCE info. Finally, what does it say on your order info? (i.e., in your TM account about your RZ order). Will-call? Or CCE? Good luck.
  20. Nice one ...this sounds good! "My southpaw is a bit tricky, but my right hook is ready to rumble for sure." As for the shows, dubbed the Innocence and Experience tour, with alternating set lists each night, Bono promises, "We've got something beyond incredible planned. And I'm ready to fight for it." Actually, IMHO this is no news at all (relating to the whole dual shows/innocence/experience thing). The "alternating set lists" phrase is from the writer of the article--nothing about this is quoted directly from the band.
  21. Why do you think they are will call? As far as I know, all RZ (and GA) tix everywhere in the US are CCE, which is different (e.g., you never actually get any physical tickets at all--rather, you show the credit card you bought them with, and are let in immediately). Supposedly, if they are CCE, there is no way to sell them to anyone else, period (except maybe 1 ticket to whoever you're going with--and you yourself would still have to attend/go in yourself). Of course, lots of folks (like yourself) are in difficult situations, precisely because CCE tix cannot be sold or transferred (except the "plus one" thing as above), and the moderators here are trying to work out some kind of solution.
  22. No, sorry, you can't. CCE tickets can't be transferred or sold. The only way (currently) to use them is to go yourself, and you could get another person in w/your 2nd ticket (who has bought it from you)--who also has to enter w/you at the same time. CCE restrictions apply to GA and RZ tickets in all US venues except NYC (New York state's laws forbid CCE tickets), including Chicago. This is obviously a big problem; the moderators are trying to work out some kind of solution. Fortunately, there's still a few months to work this out (hopefully).
  23. OK. But, it should be possible for you to have hard tickets mailed to you. In the US, that's clearly an option for all NYC tickets. So TM is NOT giving you the correct info--you should talk to a supervisor, and point out that having the tickets mailed to you should be an option (since it is for everybody else, as far as I can tell). Another possibly important thought--make SURE that TM knows you're talking about NYC tickets. Everywhere else in the US, the CCE/will call thing is in effect for GA--but NOT for NYC. The TM folks who answered you may not realize this. Worst-case scenario, maybe they have other rules for buyers outside the US. That I don't know. Good luck. Oh yeah--one more thing. You should probably contact one of the u2.com moderators about this--like Bigwave. He's successfully intervened w/various ticket issues; maybe he can help.
  24. I bet Jeff's right. But, of course, who wants to go to all the trouble to get to the show (especially if any serious travel is involved), and basically cross your fingers that you'll get in? Pretty nerve-wracking!
  25. Seems very unlikely that there will be any completely obstructed seats. And no matter what the stage design is, U2 never has an "obstucting backdrop" behind them anyway.
