  1. Yes I understand, you're not understanding what I said. I did check and as I said that even before the general sale began the Red Zone was not an option nor did it become available during the sale, it was crossed out on both of the new dates. Oh, OK, now I get it. Sorry. Wow, that's strange--as far as I know, unprecedented. Very odd. Also, for what it's worth, somebody else posted that there were both GA and RZs available this afternoon for MTL 4. And finally, I think something else that impeded my understanding you is that in TM-controlled sales, you can't see anything about the types of available tickets until the sale period begins. I gather this was different w/the ticketing system for MTL.
  2. Well, if you can do it at all, go for it! After all, this only happens every 4-5 years or so, right?
  3. I doubt it. The remaining tix for MSG 1-4 sold pretty slowly on the 2nd day, and there's still some. I bet tickets are available in many of the new US dates for months. We'll see, though!
  4. Nope. I don't know how it is that this keeps happening to some people. Actually, come to think of it, I do: when the seating map comes up, the default includes both regular AND resale tickets. Here, try this: go to one of the new Chicago dates (i.e., Chicago 3 or 4), and make sure to turn the "resale" button OFF. Then you'll just see the remaining, "normal" tix that are still on regular onsale. Click on one of the non-grey (i.e., shades of blue) sections, and you'll see that there are plenty left (all those little blue dots), especially for Chicago 4. Now, if you're talking about Chicago 1 or 2, sure--those pretty much sold out fast, so now there's basically only resale left for those.
  5. But that gives Bono some needed rest--doubt those are gonna go. They could maybe do a somewhat longer show if they did two sets w/an intermission.
  6. The 109's should be excellent--seriously. And hey, your 200's should be pretty decent as well--and you probably got them at the "reduced" price too, eh? You really should see both nights, c'mon!
  7. I hear you. There's always tons of complaining around ticket time every tour (although I must say I think some of it's a bit more justified this time). Nonetheless, just about everyone will be very excited and pleased eventually, I'm sure. And if you've never seen them live, you're in for a peak experience! I'm not going to MSG myself; I'm going to Chicago 1-4 (and who knows, maybe Dublin).
  8. Who knows--estimating market demand, I guess. Ordinarily, the variation is fairly minor. How much are RZ in Belgium?
  9. I think we're almost certainly done w/any additional dates or they would have announced them by now (although I'm still surprised at no new London/02 dates). Except, of course, for the Dublin dates TBA that the band has mentioned. And as far back as I can recall (going back multiple tours), U2 has never announced more dates for a previously announced leg (like this one)--except, of course, for dates immediately added like the ones we've seen so far. A few very rare exceptions, maybe--like Hawaii 2006 w/Vertigo. Except for Dublin, I'd bet money that this is it for 2015.
  10. Like Richie said--I'd say c. 2 hr. 10 min. This is roughly typical for major acts. McCartney and Springsteen are unusual in routinely performing for c. 3 hours.
  11. Perenelle, somebody already posted about selling some MSG tix in the forum. You might private message them to see if they have something that could help you--and again, you have tons of time to work this out, so try not to worry.
  12. It won't work w/GA or RZ (unless you're talking about MSG; New York has no CCE tix at all because state law forbids it).
  13. Not really--104 and 110 are fairly comparable; just on different sides from one another.
  14. Usually, if you're expired for any length of time (certainly 1 year would do it), then as far as I know one is simply considered a new member upon later renewal. That said, by the next tour (or maybe even when 2016 dates are announced), "new" folks will become "old" (i.e., experience) folks.
  15. What a mess. Obviously, those seats should never have been full price to begin with.
  16. I'm not sure you're getting what I'm saying--usually, the presale and regular onsale allotments are separate. Just because ticket category X sells out in the presale does NOT mean they aren't available in the general onsale. So, they could have sold out of the presale RZ with just the experience folks, with none left for the innocence folks--but there would very likely still be a regular onsale allotment for today. Did you check? (Although by now they'd be gone, I imagine.) BTW, I just realized that RZ tix in Montreal were the same price as regular GAs!! Holy moly.
  17. I certainly hope it does--and that sounds pretty clear. I'm just remembering (I think) various folks being concerned about this, calling TM, and being told that the ticket buyer had to attend themselves, and posting about that. But, the language above sounds clear. I'd call TM and see what they say (quoting the above passage if needed), and on top of that call the venue.
  18. No--they hold back some tix for the general onsale, so at least some RZ were available for MTL today, I'm sure. Oh, and by the way, I snagged 1 RZ for Chicago 3 today, which I'm very happy about.
  19. The way the sales are going for new shows in NYC, Chicago, Boston, and Montreal (especially MTL) are going, no way any more US shows this leg. Took a look at some of the "choose your seat" maps, which are now up for (at least) Boston & Chicago (not MSG yet), and there's lots still available. They'll likely eventually sell out as the shows approach, but even then, a lot of those pricey $600 VIP packages are going to eventually turn into normal full-price tix. These shows are just too damn expensive--especially w/too many full-price and/or VIP tix, which is a shame.
  20. Aargh. Unfortunately, this may be a problem. But, the moderators here on working on situations like this, and there's lots of time to get such situations straightened out/clarified.
  21. Nah, they'll be back for stadiums in 2016. The stadiums will have lots more semi-reasonably priced tix than the arenas (which are something like 1/2 the seats at top price).
  22. Ah, row 14 in 121 or 113, eh? Well, it could maybe go either way, but given your great row for 218, I'd say that those are basically at least as good as the 121/113 tix you were offered. So congratulations! I'm virtually certain you'll be very pleased. You definitely got an excellent deal! And yes, it was hard to get RZ. I actually tried a trick that somebody else mentioned--I just requested 1 ticket (which is fine, because I'm by myself for Chicago 3). Jumped on the onsale right on time, and lo and behold, it came up. Very happy camper. I'd even (in another browser) requested another single RZ ticket (in case my first try didn't work), and that came up too! After some thought, though, I let it go. And absolutely, let's have a beer (or two) in the RZ! One of the RZ perks is we have our very own (cash) bar, believe it or not. Alcohol is available throughout the arena, but it's very convenient to have our own bar (not to mention some kind of special access to bathrooms).
