  1. Check to see if your RZs are credit card entry (CCE). If so, you won't get any in the mail--you take your credit card to the show, and they run it and let you in. Also, when you bought them, what delivery method did you choose? If a mailing option was available, then they weren't CCE, and I'd contact eventim.de about it.
  2. Presale issues aside, if you (celt007) are patient (not easy, I know), you'll likely be able to eventually snag some Toronto GAs. Various folks have already been posting tickets (for face) on this site; keep checking. Also, eventually the venue will release some more--if not before, then about 1-2 weeks before the show. The key there is to find out about it fast enough; check TM often as the show approaches, and also on this site (someone will perhaps post saying "Toronto GAs on sale now...".
  3. No--the hotel only comes with the super-expensive travel package (c. 4x as much!)
  4. You're welcome. Yeah, it does seem unclear how the scalpers are going to pull off this pre-paid CC/GA thing, for the reasons you mention. But they seem convinced that they can (?). The only "scalped" CCE GA tix where it would seem there would for sure be no problems are situations where the seller is actually going him/herself, and can simply have the buyers meet him/her and be part of their party entering the venue.
  5. Despite the differing (and hence very confusing!) CCE info from venue to venue (which, amazingly, is still not corrected), in fact, at ALL venues (except MSG), GA and RZ were CCE, reserved tickets weren't. And despite this confusing and conflicting info, once you actually got to the buying tickets stage, this was (and only then) clear. No tickets were CCE at MSG because New York State does not allow paperless tickets at all. So, for example, the GAs you see for resale (besides MSG) are all from scalpers that have some way around this (like buying the tickets with a CC that they actually send to the "rebuyer"). Also, you'll notice that (again, besides MSG) the TM resale tix are ONLY reserved everywhere else. And regarding dhaygood's comment above, sure, there's lots of tix on the secondary market (including stubhub, ebay, etc.--not just TM resale, as you say), but most of these (except for MSG) are for reserved, because almost everywhere else (in the US, UK, and some of the other European venues) it's considerably more difficult (although not impossible; see also below) to resell GA or RZ (because of CCE).
  6. Yeah. And while it would look cool, the other info earlier in this thread (e.g., the SAP map) makes it pretty clear that, for example, the RZs will not be "inside" such a layout.
  7. Not for MSG--New York state law forbids CCE/paperless tix. But everywhere else (w/TM--US, Canada, UK), GA and RZ are CCE. I don't know about w/other European ticket sellers.
  8. Will call will very likely open sometime in the afternoon (c. 2:00) for most venues, at least in the US. And you can always call the venue to ask.
  9. But how is TM reselling tx really any different from reselling them on ebay (or other dedicated scalping sites), which has been around forever?
  10. Interestingly, MSG 5 & 6 have sold quite well, actually--not that far, really, from being sold out. Chicago 3 isn't far from being sold out either (except for some $600 VIP tix), but Chicago 4 has lots left, as does Boston 3 & 4 (including surprising amounts of cheaper tix). Hard to say how other added shows are doing, although apparently Montreal 3 & 4 may be worse. Don't know about added European shows (?). Indeed, MSG 5 & 6 have done well enough that they could even merit a 7 & 8--although certainly these haven't been added yet, and so probably won't be. Still surprised that London/02 didn't get two more, although as some have said, maybe they want to save some demand for the Dublin shows TBA. Also, with many European shows, it's hard to tell what's left (compared to US TM maps, where you can literally see the unsold tix).
  11. Actually, a number of folks have already suggested this--see earlier in this thread. Also see earlier for reasons why this is unlikely--for example, the very detailed SAP map (see immediately prior post), which almost certainly is from the actual U2 production people. It's just too darn detailed to not be right.
  12. Don't panic yet. The moderators here are working on these and related problems, and I think there's a good chance they'll work something out.
  13. What Andy said. Plus, for doubters, check further back in this thread for a bunch of other evidence supporting the SAP setup as "the" stage design (for openers, click the link at top of this page to see it yourself). And Kristaps, I know you're not yet convinced and still think it could be a true center stage thing. But, then how do you then deal w/the SAP map? Or (secondarily) the Amsterdam map? And the ticket pricing data? (i.e., it's not symmetrical--invariably, there are more lower-price tix behind one end than the other, in the arenas that have ends on both sides).
  14. More important than most things will be how close your seats are, IMHO. There's a correlation between how pumped people get and the distance, for sure. At least in arenas it's actually possible to get close; in stadiums, even the closest seats are a good ways away.
  15. Don't think so. The lower prices are only with shows that have been added.
  16. Those are the "lower-price" VIP tix. Those will have a good view of the b-stage/RZs.
  17. Oh. From ATYCLB and before? Roughly speaking, maybe half the show (c. 11 songs). They'll also play maybe 2 Vertigo songs and maybe 2 NLH songs, something like that.
  18. Agreed. Chicago 4 isn't even close to selling out.
  19. No, way more older stuff. Typically, on the first leg after a new album is released, they'll do 5-6 (maybe 7) songs from the new album--everything else is from older stuff (c. 17-18 songs). On the 2nd leg, new songs usually drop to maybe 3. Of course, the wild card here is the whole "innocence-experience" thing, which we don't know how this will play out. Offhand, one would think there would be relatively more new tunes the 1st night, relatively more old ones the 2nd. And also, if they actually release the "experience" album during the tour, the number of new songs would increase.
  20. Things vary in the seats quite a bit. Definitely more subdued than GA, of course. But, folks get more animated the closer the seats are. Also, seats are more "revved-up" in arenas (vs. stadiums), because they're smaller/more people are relatively closer. But, overall, I'd say that if it's a big deal to you to be able to go nuts pretty much the whole show, why do seats at all? Myself, I only do them when I've got travel time issues and/or am going with somebody who's not up for GA madness.
  21. You posted in the wrong (Red Zone) section for what you want. Try "New York" under "North America" and/or post it in the main section below.
  22. What he said--see main threads in "Stage Design" and "Rear/Side Seats" in the main forum below. Your seats are directly behind the main stage; you'll be close to them when they're there, but seeing them mostly from the back. That's why your seats are not full price. When they're at the b-stage (by the RZs), you'll see them from across the floor.
  23. Sounds like dragonfaerie has saved the day. Good luck, Simon. Mike
  24. The SAP venue map is just too detailed to not be right. Plus, I called them and they confirmed that they got the layout directly from U2 productions.
  25. Don't think so, but I'm not sure...
