  1. I'm floored they wouldn't run a train!?..website says for special concerts ,etc t hat they do...How much bigger of a concert is there than this?..took 3+ to get outta there in 09'
  2. Unless by some miracle, they make the train accessible, Were doin Rallybus also...I think its like 50 bucks or something, ya cant beat it since it'd be at least 40 to park your car @ Gillette. I did Rallybus one other time down in Miami bc the stadium was far out from South Beach..Worked out fine.
  3. Just grabbed a few...Nothin yet on Vancouver, but encouraging
  4. Hey Laura, However things play out, I'd be thrilled to buy the GA for Seattle. I'll be in Vancouver Thurs-Sun am, then boogying back to seattle for Suns show. Comin in Wed to Seattle from CT, Cheers, Sean
  5. Maybe its the result of some excess wine and a few other things, but I'm diggin the Crystal Ballroom big time. Was blaring this for friends earlier tonight after dinner. Its like some 70's, haunted groove with Jack Nicholson on backup. These type of tunes restore and keep my allegiance to the boys.......if we were anywhere in the 80's and 90's, this would have been yet another classic B-side. I hope this is somewhere in the set next year..this tune could go off live.......
  6. Welcome back onboard..We should organize a convoy up 91 or 87 (done both), for all CT'ers headin up! Its a perfect road trip. I'm headin up for the weekend's first two shows myself. Long way off, but lookin forward to it.
  7. AC/DC Selling out Wembley Stadium in under an hr today is impressive. Now that's how ya want your on sale to go.
  8. I'm with ya on wanting a full house but man that wouldn't make me happy. Its really just an awareness thing. If people had previous knowledge it was gonna be similar to purchasing airline tickets, or booking a hotel room, where prices fluctuate amongst customers, they could probably accept it. Anyways, what can ya do.
  9. I've never seen it before. I was @ the New Orleans show when they were giving tickets away for free outside for Popmart However, that was a whole different story. , I've never seen a ticket slash done online via Ticketmaster. Earlier I was playing around with the seating chart @ MSG where you select your lil blue dot. You could literally shake hands with the dude in front of you that paid $312.00, while your ticket is $118.00.
  10. The once, well oiled machine of U2 is showing some wear. I don't know if its the new management, simple bad fortune (Bono's spill, Apple release) or just older-age, but nothing seems to be on auto-pilot like in the past....This is still gonna be a successful and enjoyable tour however, the times, they are a changing. I also think they'll make the rounds out to the middle markets before all is said and done, giving folks an opportunity to see them closer to home. I hope anyway.
  11. That's incredible. Should be interesting if this gets any attention in the mainstream once word gets out. I know I wouldnt be happy bout payin $200 more for the exact seat on a different night.
  12. Yeah, probably right..this whole thing has a long, long way to play out.
  13. Absolutely Tina...I've made the trip for a few tours in the past and have tickets for the weekend shows in June. The ride from Hartford's bout 5 hrs but its a really easy and nice ride...Great city in the summer, you'll love t he trip.
  14. I cought three shows myself, pretty incredible. I'd see that show every few months for the rest of my life if it were available.
  15. "I don't have many vices apart from gambling, drinking, women and the rest I squander" Lol
  16. I know...I didnt purchase tickets today bc I already have 6 from the last few weeks. I actually think they wanted to have them onsale for x-mas in order to be provided as gifts. Not sure it was a factor or not...I'm sorta glad I held off today bc its not gonna be an issue to find some on the second market before the show. That much is clear.
  17. August is what has me the most curious. Is that a month of rest, before Europe, or does it mean....Philly, DC, Jersey, etc..and if not, when do the next tier of arenas get played in the States...Anyways
  18. Its so true Mike. I cant wait to view the "choose your seat" once avail for MSG. Boston and Montreal is borderline embarrassing. Maybe its father time catching up with the boys, who knows..BUT somebody made a marketing snafu this go round. I've NEVER recalled u2 arena onsales having tickets left, much less 1/2 the arena. I don't mean to pile on, but I really think a stadium leg, only a summer later is in jeapardy. Honestly, if 4 shows arent selling out in your strongest markets, how can you do stadium gigs only a year later as planned...There's gonna be some thought put into this as these sales get digested before year-end.
  19. Lookin forward to going up there for the first 2 shows. Always a great time up there in June.
  20. Perenelle, give it time. I didn't pick up any for Mondays show either. The sales were really slow today. Obviously GA's sold, but 1/2 of MSG is still available. Stubhub has GA's for 200.00 already...While that seems like a lot, its already 1/2 of what was offered last week. These shows are 3 seaons away, you'll be able to get a GA for face value come summer, easily.
  21. Its pretty incredible the stunts that have been going on with this entire onsale/process...The attempts made to squeeze every penny out of people has never seemed so agregious. Anyways, thats a good catch on your part. These sales are so poor today, that you'll be able to pick up the 312.00's for 1/2 price a few days out...I said it would happen last week, but I didn't expect it to be this bad.
  22. Slow all over. When NYC and Boston both have 1/2 the arena left to sell, its an issue. They over priced and over reached, this time round and its glaringly obvious. Thinking ahead, I'm questioning how they would fill stadiums only a year later...I could see that getting scraped.
  23. Both you guys have valid points...After payin more than double face for a floor seat to PJ in Hartford a year ago, I had wished I belonged to their fan club. There is absolutly no doubt U2's fan club ticket experience could be a lot better... To parallel vancity, its all bout the bizness though...U2's a machine...I wish it was still 1983, but that aspect of beeing a fan of this band ended with the Joshua Tree, you could make a case it really hasn't been the same since the WAR tour.....These guys are my band, but like anything, its all a bit different these days..
  24. August intrigues me, do they do Philly?, DC?, Miami? while adding to places like Toronto,etc?...If not, when exactly do they play these venues? Dallas, Denver, etc...It would have to be arenas for all or most of 2016 before entertaining stadiums in 2017. One helluva long tour, but it could easily be reality. Not to mention additional Europe venues. The East Coast of the States is no doubt the strongest U2 market. Always has been.. I'm thinkin this whole thing will have at least the one more album, likely 2 (songs of Ascent/trilogy) before ending in the outdoors of Dublin City late 2017.....Do I dare say, its the end of it all?...Nah, I'll let the band sell that piece like they eloquently started last tour...They are a marvel, marketing machine, besides being the greatest band ever...If I lived to 500..It .wouldn't happen again in my lifetime...1,000 either.
  25. Make sure to set 3 different alarm clocks, all on eastern standard time. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE....take your vitamins, get a good night sleep, perform Yoga, meditate, sign into Ticketmaster @ 9:45am, and start hitting refresh @ apx 9:58am..!!!! Good Luck!, and may God speed
