  1. Judging by that sunset time it looks like half the show's going to be played in daylight as well.
  2. The info on this page only lists Noel as support. Shame, would've been nice to have an additional act.

Okay, so it wasn't on the setlist on either of the East Rutherford gigs...looks like it's gone.
  4. Got an email from Ticketmaster with info about the show: 16.30: Doors open 18.30: Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds 20.10: U2 Looks like just the one support act then...
  5. From the info I got sent about Twickenham in an email, it said they were going to be onstage at 20.10 and the show would end at 22.30. So a maximum 2hrs 20min show, although we can't be certain. I agree, first segment does need to be longer. They just need to put A Sort of Homecoming back in there!
  6. Sadly looks like it's not to be - they're playing Hyde Park with The Killers on 8th July. Was kind of gutted to see that, them followed by Noel followed by U2 would've been a dream.

Not a clue. I'm kinda frustrated - when I first heard they were rehearsing it my heart jumped. If the LA and Chicago shows are anything to go by I'm guessing they're only playing in cities where they're doing more than one show, so I've got a 50/50 chance of hearing it in London next week. Just wish they'd play it every night frankly!
  8. @vertigojds Apparently the GA at Boston was a mess. I think that proves your point, totally with you.
  9. I'm just hoping they have something in place to stop this at Twickenham stadium in London, because, frankly, it's a bit ridiculous that people are blatantly disobeying the rules set out by the band, promoter and venues.
  10. Nice photos! The sequence from Pride to Streets where the screen goes red looks incredible. I'm anticipating tears.
  11. I didn't see them on the 360 tour, but I've seen them at four of their own shows and in one festival headline slot and they are simply superb.
  12. Wasn't expecting a second act! Hope it's someone good. Fingers semi-crossed for Elbow.
  13. I'm guessing they're only going to be playing Homecoming and Little Things when they're doing 2 shows in one city. Which means I have a 50/50 chance of hearing those 2 songs in London on 8 July...
  14. Should be an interesting one, this. After Glastonbury I wasn't expecting the boys to play a festival ever again!
  15. I feel you on that one, vertigojds. Concert audiences in general seem to have gotten ruder over the years. I saw Elbow in London a few months ago, and was singing along with enthusiasm as I do, then the bloke next to me turned round and shouted in my ear "Can you turn it down a bit? I want to hear him singing, not you." Me being way too polite to stick up for myself, I complied, but I really wish I hadn't. Stuff like what's been mentioned in the thread (especially in vertigojds's comment above mine) is why I prefer going to small local gigs these days.
  16. Totally agree on this. I'm not against taking a few photos every now and then but holding your phone up and filming for the entire show! Er, no thanks!
  17. I LOVE this version of New Year's Day! Somehow sounds moodier and darker.
  18. Enjoy the show tonight! Looking forward to looking at the setlist tomorrow morning...
  19. Looking down their Twitter, that tourbook actually looks really nice! I've never bought anything more than a tour shirt at gigs before, but that could be about to change...
